  1. The Lil Nas X song is just a poor effort from him, if he was putting out Montero level bangers i'm optimistic he would see some better results again. Not someone saying 'given her age' about the 30 year old Ariana Grande lmaoooooooo
  2. Underwhelming is my first listen Ariana impression. It's not awful it just exists. Might be a grower I guess.
  3. Ricky Martin/Christina
  4. Fantastic #1 from George and Aretha. Male Stripper also a good addition.
  5. Mama Cass's Dream A Little Dream Of Me is all kinds of stunning.
  6. Cabin Crew. Not fussed about it in either version.
  7. Jack Your Body really is head and shoulders above the pack there.
  8. Reading through this thread, I like the alternate reality where this and Golden Skans both got to #1 in 2007.
  9. The general reception i've seen on this one is that it sounds good but the lyrics are a bit of a let down and I have to agree.
  10. Chris Brown is a shit but Beautiful People is a good track. This is a boring slab of nothingness, the fact it has outpeaked genuine bop Can't Tame Her is insane.
  11. Positive start for LG & John Squire on Apple. :cheer: GET ITTTTTTTTTTTTTT SOPHIE E-B!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noah Kahan needs to do a public service and delete his track until after MOTD has got its decades overdue place at #1 tbh.
  12. The top two and Heartbreak are obviously fantastic but also throwing some love out there for the underrated Catch You.
  13. +5: Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Miracle +4: RAYE & 070 Shake - Escapism. +3: SZA - Kill Bill +2: PinkPantheress - Boy's a liar +1: Libianca - People -1: Harry Styles - As It Was -2: Rema - Calm Down -3: Miley Cyrus - Flowers -4: Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero -5: Dave & Central Cee - Sprinter
  14. GET IT Sophie E-B. Loving the boost for Perfect (Exceeder) too, Tomcraft next please.
  15. She is COMING
  16. +5 The Pogues feat. Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York +4 Noah Kahan - Stick Season +3 Jack Harlow - Lovin On Me +2 Wham! - Last Christmas +1 Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone -1 Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree -2 Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You -3 Sam Ryder - You're Christmas To Me -4 Ed Sheeran & Elton John - Merry Christmas -5 Michael Bublé - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
  17. Hugely enjoyed Saltburn and thrilled for the buzz around it and the boost for Murder On The Dancefloor after that scene. Perfect (Exceeder) is the one that's been stuck in my head since I watched it though lol.

I think I was actually too kind to this because i'd had quite a few wines on Christmas Day. On reflection it really was not good at all. I will stand by the two lead actors showing good promise despite the writing as the main positive though.
  19. Just a snippet of that sounds miles better than the pitiful Guetta collab.
  20. What Do You Want To Make Those Eyes At Me For does NOT deserve to be at the very bottom end with that other crap! :(
  21. Beach Boys, Eurythmics, Chumbawamba, Gorillaz & Hozier. Tough choices for sure.
  22. The charts seem to have moved at a particularly terminal snail pace in Q1 the past few years. I imagine Noah will do a couple of weeks and then we will get a new release that will be a 9 weeker.
  23. As I already said, kinda disappointing to see Adele's incredible record lost to people just sticking on a curated playlist in the background all day but whatever.
