Yeah I thought the same! Took an eternity to reach Silver even though it passed 100k in 2003 and doesn’t seem like it was ever that forgotten it meant it remained uncertified for so long; now for it to pass Gold in a couple of years… I wonder if the physical sales weren’t included in the first certification? Maybe there was a label change?

I like it but not a highlight from what we have heard so far. I’m hoping the FIFA tag doesn’t mean it is the song being performed at the half time show.

Yeah it’s odd that In Your Eyes is so big worldwide but comparatively smaller in the UK. It was 16th on her most streamed songs in the UK in 2023.
