  1. 'Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection' was a re-entry at #192 the w/e 12th June. We know from the Music Week report that #195 sold 1,255 copies. NE: 1-2-4-12-18-21-39-51-61-78-46-71-93-127-149-171 (first entry: 11/07/19) 16w RE: 16-37-42-49-50-47-68-101-134-196 (second entry: 05/12/19) 10w RE: 192 (third entry: 26/11/20) 1w RE: 154 (fourth entry: 13/01/22) 1w RE: 163-196 (fifth entry: 05/10/23) 2w RE: 162-174 (sixth entry: 21/12/23) 2w RE: 190-198 (seventh entry: 18/01/24) 2w RE: 169 (eighth entry: 25/07/24) 1w RE: 192 (ninth entry: 12/06/25) 1w Total: 36w
  2. William Orbit has commented on the album and he doesn't hold back his feelings!
  3. All I think of when I see the cover is one comment saying "I'd have had him pull her hair tighter". 😂 Having seen her on tour, I agree that everything she does is very tongue-n-cheek, but I can understand the opposing view.
  4. I wasn't sure whether I liked this or not for the first few listens, I don't know quite how to describe it! I'm firmly in the love camp now though, there is something a little bit 'Obsessed' about it with the catchy lyrics and the attitude of the song. Love how she's teaching us new words for us like "rigamarole", very classic Mariah.
  5. 'City Games' now plays on Spotify instead of the Tom Middleton remix of 'Chocolate'!
  6. Before 'Manchild' was released, I did wonder if we'd be getting a new Sabrina album sooner than expected. She strikes me as the type of artist that would write music whilst on the road and I thought she would want to offer something new for the second US leg of the tour later in the year. 'Manchild' very much feels like a continuation of the 'Short N Sweet' sound so I thought that one or two songs might be the extent of the new music. Hopefully there is a progression of sound on this next album; I like 'Manchild' but, as others have said numerous times, it's very "heard it all before but not as good second time round".
  7. 'Skin' remix is #9 on UK iTunes!
  8. 'Dancing' is #186 on UK iTunes, down from #111 on the previous update.
  9. Omg! Only 27 years late! Wonder when the 'Bedtime Stories' bonus vinyl will be put on pre-order? Feels like that was announced ages ago. I feel like 'Revenge' would have been a better choice of demo to include on a remix album (and it's one I'm dying to have on Spotify!). 'Skin' (The Collaboration Remix Edit) is on Spotify now:
  10. Tate's singles have been hitting a lot more consistently recently but I'm not really feeling this one. It's just a bit Tate by numbers.
  11. It's about time!
  12. 'Padam Padam' is #189 on UK iTunes thanks to the tour. 'Tension' the album is at #74.
  13. By digital I'm assuming it means streams as well as downloads. I've long thought that they should at least add 'Padam Padam' to 'Step Back in Time' on streaming services. Such little effort but could see a decent increase in its chart sales. I agree we don't need a brand new greatest hits album for Kylie, but maybe they could repackage it for the 40th anniversary of Kylie's music career. Maybe a more expansive vinyl as the original only had 20 tracks.
  14. Hard to pinpoint which song exactly but my earliest memories are watching the music channels and that would have been 2000/1, so it'll have been one of 'Spinning Around', 'On a Night Like This' or 'Head'. I remember 'Lucky' and 'Locomotion' regularly getting plays as well so it could have been one of them too (off on a tangent here, but reminds me that I owned some pop compilations that had both songs on; one of them was 'Dance Party' which had a second disc where you could learn the dance moves!). My mum had the 'Light Years' CD which I listened to all the time. I still have the CD and the booklet is worn in the middle because I used to read the lyrics and look at the photos every time I listened.
  15. 'Bedtime Story' this time!
  16. Results Survival Forbidden Love Inside of Me I'd Rather Be Your Lover Love Tried to Welcome Me Don't Stop
  17. Lots of Kylie certifications recently! That's 55k in 72 weeks, putting its average at 764 a week. At the beginning of the year, I had estimated it would pass Platinum in August, with the potential to pass early due to the tour. Kylie's first Platinum album since 'Aphrodite'!

That was a great first listen! Agreed that this could easily be a Kylie album. It's non-stop bops, a very cohesive album but goes through various styles of music: disco, 80s-synth, 90s-house, modern-house. Love the Janet-'Throb' sample on 'Get Into It'. ❤️ I wasn't even aware of any Louise music as a kid, other than perhaps 'Stuck in the Middle with You', and I can't say I've been that hooked by her back catalogue after checking it out in recent years, bar a couple of songs. I quite liked 'Stretch' when she made her comeback in 2019 but it was the Greatest Hits album that made me properly take notice of Louise. I loved 'Super Magic' and I thought some of the reimagined versions were great! I'll be giving this album a lot more spins and might even get the vinyl!
  19. Yes different each show. Usually no more than a line or two, although she has thrown in surprise full performances in this section of the show. Think she's done the likes of 'Did It Again', 'Wow' and '2 Hearts'.
  20. This album turned 35 on Thursday! I wonder if anything else could have been a hit from this album. Perhaps 'Something to Remember'? Similar tempo to 'This Used to Be My Playground' which was a US #1 a couple of years later.
  21. Shocked 'Forbidden Love' has gone, genuinely thought it would be the last standing non-single. I went with 'Survival'. Quite a unique opening track in the sense it's not a single and not a big song production-wise, however I think it's enough of a statement piece for the album in terms of its lyrics.
  22. Results Forbidden Love Inside of Me I'd Rather Be Your Lover Love Tried to Welcome Me Don't Stop
  23. Couple of Dannii interviews promoting 'I Kissed a Boy':
  24. In terms of her biggest songs chart sales-wise, I think this is Celine's Top 10: My Heart Will Go On Think Twice It's All Coming Back to Me Because You Loved Me I'm Alive The Power of Love All By Myself Tell Him Immorality That's the Way It Is
  25. 'Wow' was a surprise, rehearsed song whilst snippets of 'Into the Blue' and 'Paper Dolls' were performed! 'Paper Dolls' is such a deep cut, feel like it would maybe be a better fit on 'Light Years' than 'Bittersweet Goodbye' if they needed a ballad/slower moment.
