Kylie ● UK Chart Runs & Sales
Yay at her debut being updated too! If they could just add the Silver certification for 'Impossible Princess' to their archives too, that would be great.

Kylie ● UK Chart Runs & Sales
Mentioned by Kylie too!

Like a Virgin ● Survivor Round 1
I went for 'Pretender' too, it's nice but very throwaway. I'm surprised 'Shoo-Bee-Doo' isn't being voted straight out!

Streaming Services Chart Discussion
It is #4 on Germany's New Music Friday (where it's getting the main push, also the theme to their version of I'm a Celeb this year) and some of the surrounding countries.

EastEnders
Sooooo excited for this! Anita Dobson and Pam St Clement involved! Anita reunited with Letitia Dean!

EastEnders
My money has been on Kojo from the moment George asked him to be his alibi, which in turn gave Kojo an alibi. I just don't see any of the official suspects having strong enough motives to attack Cindy whereas I could see Kojo thinking he was protecting George. I also remember Jean acting really shifty in the episode just after the attack when the police came round asking questions, I think perhaps she's covering for Kojo (after the mini storyline of them becoming friends and saying they'd look out for each other). I could also see anyone that finds out Kojo is the attacker agreeing to keep quiet.

Not on UK New Music Friday.- Someone For Me ● 3rd single
I wouldn't be surprised if it missed, it's not on Australia's.- Someone For Me ● 3rd single
#4 on German Spotify New Music Friday!- Someone For Me ● 3rd single
Preview can be heard here: https://music.apple.com/au/album/someone-fo...ngle/1789253943 Doesn't do much to raise my enjoyment of the song. At least we got a stunning new artwork... oh wait.- Tears On My Pillow ● 35 years on
I’ve not found an official source for that 17th biggest film of 1989 but I wonder if it means films released on that year rather than within the time frame of January - December 1989.- Tension ● album discussion
Guessing that means it was 72 copies away as of Friday 10th so is pretty much guaranteed to be Gold this Friday! Would be nice if Padam Padam went Platinum the same day. If SayHey could give other totals as well that would be appreciated…- Madonna ● general discussion
Love this straight haired look! A new album to match the look please.- Artists That Disliked / Disowned Their Own Songs
Robbie Williams has been saying on his press tour that he hates the lyrics to 'Millennium' and doesn't like performing it. I think it's one of his best songs! I'm a big Bond fan too so extra points for the video and the Nancy Sinatra sample.- Like a Virgin ● Survivor Round 1
Celebrating 'Like a Virgin' turning 40 at the end of last year with an album survivor. Vote for your least favourite in the poll above!- Impossible Princess ● album discussion
This has come up on PopJustice and they've suggested that the way the pop culture was changing - starting with Spice Girls but particularly in 1999 when new popstars like Christina and Britney were breaking through and when Madonna and Janet were returning to pop after introspective albums - it was almost inevitable that Kylie would have done so, regardless of how 'Impossible Princess' had been received. If she didn't go completely pop, I do think she would have homed in on the dance side of 'Impossible Princess'. Maybe acts like Sash! (they did remix 'Breathe') or ATB and that type of euro sound. The likes of 'On a Night Like This' and 'Butterfly' would probably still exist.- Tension II Survivor Round 3
‘Someone for Me’ again, or rather, ‘Not the One for Me’! :basil:- Tension II ● album discussion
Both very 80s so I imagine they’re from ‘Tension I’. I adore the production style on ‘You Ain’t Ready’, very The Weeknd meets Prince. I’d be happy for Kylie to return to that with a better song over the top of it.- Forum Success
Despite half the amount of posts as 2023, we were the number one artist forum for the second year running! 01 10035 Kylie and Dannii Minogue 02 6134 Lady Gaga 03 3392 Little Mix 04 2463 Spice Girls 05 2009 Taylor Swift 06 1887 Robbie Williams and Take That 07 1736 Steps 08 1639 RuPaul's Drag Race 09 1590 Dua Lipa 10 1367 Girls Aloud- Celeste – Everyday
I remember the episode after was when Sharon married Ian and they dedicated the episode to Barbara! an embarrassing time to be an EastEnders fan. Oh yeah I remember that about the different tracking lists now that you mention it! This is the performance below. A few photos in the middle but they had done a really lovely tribute to her throughout the entire show too. Rrx3evxj3Cs- Celeste – Everyday
‘Strange’ was the first for me, think I listened to the full album too and enjoyed it, but it was the John Lewis song ‘A Little Love’ that really stopped me in the moment. She performed it on The One Show just after the show paid tribute to Barbara Windsor who had died the night before and they showed some images of her as she performed, and I just thought the song summed up Barbara’s life so well. I’m a massive EastEnders fan as it is and a fan of Barbara Windsor as a person and how much she loved her audience and appreciated her fame. The song still makes me emotional four years on.- Doechii - DENIAL IS A RIVER
Not a fan of the song but been seeing the title quoted in an old Wendy Williams clip quite a bit. DENIAL IS A RIVER IN AFRICA, YOUR HUSBAND IS GAY!- Someone For Me ● 3rd single
True. I mean I suppose I can appreciate it being a less obvious sound for Kylie than, say, Taboo or Good as Gone, but I know which is more likely to sell albums. - Someone For Me ● 3rd single
