OCC: Celine Dion's Most Streamed Songs
Some pleasant surprises on this list! The first being 'My Heart Will Go On' not being Celine's most streamed, but I suppose 'It's All Coming Back to Me Now' had its viral moment a few years back and appears on an advert. I knew 'I'm Alive' was a good streamer as it went Platinum last year despite peaking at #17 in 2002, but wasn't sure where it would place on her overall streaming list. It's nice to see her uptempos taking up spots in the Top 10 - 'I'm Alive', 'That's the Way It Is' and 'I Drove All Night' place among my favourite Celine Dion songs, plus I think the Steve Aoki remix of 'Ashes' makes up a good number of its streams. 'Happy Xmas' was certified Silver last year, so it seems her back catalogue streams pretty well, at least for the Top 11. I was surprised to see 'Falling Into You' album track, 'I Love You' - maybe it gets a boost around Valentine's Day? Would have been nice for some of her earlier songs to show up, namely my two favourites 'Where Does My Heart Beat Now' and 'If You Asked Me To'.

OCC: Celine Dion's Most Streamed Songs
Céline Dion's Official most-streamed songs of all time in the UK revealed By Nick Levine | 14 May 2025 Céline Dion isn't just a singer with five Number 1 albums and 27 Top 40 singles to her name. She's also the queen of Las Vegas, a vocal powerhouse with an unparalleled range, and an icon of resilience. In 2022, she revealed that she has been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological condition that affects her vocal cords and everyday mobility. This week, she sent a special video message to the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, recognising the fact that ESC is where it all began for her. In 1988, she won the contest for Switzerland with her French-language power ballad Ne partez pas sans moi. Since then, she's released 12 English-language studio albums and taken her tally of French-language studio albums to 15. To celebrate her enduring impact, we've crunched the numbers to reveal her 20 most-streamed songs ever on the UK's Official Charts. But before we reveal the full chart, let's take a closer look at the Top 5... 5. Think Twice Released: 1994 Official Singles Chart peak: Number 1 Total UK streams: 60 million This exquisite, slow-building ballad became Céline's first song to top the UK's Official Singles Chart, where it reigned for seven straight weeks. To this day, it's one of the UK's best-selling singles of all time. Like Céline, Think Twice has a bit of Eurovision in its backstory: it was co-written by Andy Hill, who previously penned Bucks Fizz's 1981 song contest winner Making Your Mind Up. 4. Because You Loved Me Released: 1996 Official Singles Chart peak: Number 5 Total UK streams: 67 million Written by power ballad queen Diane Warren, this karaoke classic served as the theme song to Up Close & Personal, a romantic movie starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Redford. It was the second Diane Warren composition – of 16 to date – to be nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars. Sadly, Diane has still never won in this category, but another ballad sung by Céline, My Heart Will Go On, went on to claim the trophy in 1997. 3. I'm Alive Released: 2002 Official Singles Chart peak: Number 17 Total UK streams: 74 million Céline is best known for her ballads, but this uplifting bop from 2002's A New Day Has Come album shows she can also boss dance-pop. It's a Y2K-era classic that enjoyed a surprising second life on TikTok when Canadian mash-up maestro Jammin Kid spliced it with the 1970s funk tune And the Beat Goes On. After this version went viral, it was released as a single in May 2024, credited to DJ-producer Majestic, Jammin Kid and Celine. Titled Set My Heart on Fire (I'm Alive x And the Beat Goes On), it duly became Céline's 27th and most recent UK Top 40 hit. 2. My Heart Will Go On Released: 1997 Official Singles Chart peak: Number 1 Total UK streams: 89 million Near, far, wherever you are... you'll know this song. It's the theme to Titanic, the fourth highest-grossing film of all time, and it won an Oscar in 1998. Céline remains so closely associated with the film that there's even a West End and Broadway musical predicated on the idea that she was secretly on board the ill-fated cruise liner. It's called Titanique (because Céline is French-Canadian), it's a comedy (phew) and it features some of her most popular songs including this one. Truly, there is no one quite like Céline Dion. 1. It's All Coming Back to Me Now Released: 1996 Official Singles Chart peak: Number 3 Total UK streams: 114 million When you need someone to sell epic melodrama, you call Céline. Her incredible, seven-and-a-half minute version of It's All Coming Back to Me Now was actually the second to make the Official Singles Chart – the original recording by girl-group Pandora's Box peaked at Number 51 in 1989. This gargantuan power ballad was written by Jim Steinman, who's most known for crafting many of Meat Loaf's signature songs. Meat Loaf wanted to record It's All Coming Back to Me Now for years, but finally got his way in 2006, when his duet version with Marion Raven became a UK Number 6 hit. Céline Dion's Official Top 20 most-streamed songs in the UK It's All Coming Back to Me My Heart Will Go On I'm Alive Because You Loved Me Think Twice The Power of Love That's the Way It Is Ashes All By Myself I Drove All Night Happy Xmas (War is Over) Beauty and the Beast (with Peabo Bryson) A New Day Has Come Immortality (with Bee Gees) Tell Him (with Barbra Streisand) How Does a Moment Last Forever The Prayer O Holy Night I Love You Falling Into You

2025 BPI Certifications
Very pleased to see 'Slow' finally get passed the Silver mark. Strange it's taken so long, it's much more of a classic than its sales would suggest and doesn't deserve to be a part of this list of #1 songs that haven't yet been certified (2000+ only): Manic Street Preachers - The Masses Against the Classes (2000) Busted - You Said No (2003) Daniel Bedingfield - Never Gonna Leave Your Side (2003) Sam & Mark - With a Little Help From My Friends (2004) Busted - Who's David? (2004) Brian McFadden - Real to Me (2004) Robbie Williams - Radio (2004) McFly - I'll Be OK (2005) Chico - It's Chico Time (2006) McFly - Don't Stop Me Now / Please, Please (2006) Girls Aloud vs. Sugababes - Walk This Way (2007) McFly - Baby's Coming Back/Transylvania (2007) Eva Cassidy & Katie Melua - What a Wonderful World (2007) Vanessa Jenkins & Bryn West ft. Kylie ● UK Chart Runs & Sales
I don't think there's many, but one I think should happen some time soon is Silver for 'The Loco-motion' as it never received a certification back in the day. Sold about 376k in the 80s which increased to 434k in 2018 (pure sales). Streams accounted for about 110k in 2023, giving an overall total of 544k and about 30k off of achieving 200k sales in the digital era.

Kylie ● UK Chart Runs & Sales
Hasn't it just?! It feels a bit strange that this day has finally come. I'll always be eager to see more Kylie certifications every time I the BPI site updates each Friday, but I can chill a bit now that 'Slow' has finally reached Silver. It took 303 weeks to sell 46k, which works out at 152 chart sales per week on average, which is pretty much what I suspected it was selling. Next in line for Silver... potentially 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' which I think it is at least over 190k by now. It was 5 places above 'Slow' on Kylie's most streamed songs which suggest its averaging higher; it was also one place higher than 'Wow' which was averaging 220 per week between 2019 and 2022. 220 chart sales would put 'Roses' at 191k and 247 chart sales would mean it was at 200k right now.

It's a week old but this tweet has the list of all the songs:- Kylie ● UK Chart Runs & Sales
'Kids' sold 283k as of the w/e 25th July 2019, meaning it has averaged 389 chart sales per week. I suspected it would be certified Gold this year but didn't think it would be this soon in the year. I'm desperately waiting for 'Slow' to go Silver before anything else! 'On a Night Like This' is on track to be Kylie's next Gold certified song but I estimate it to be about 300k, so it's a long way off yet.- What UK records does Kylie hold over Madonna?
Madonna did set the record for most plays in a week with 'Beautiful Stranger'. It was also the #1 radio hit of 1999, making Madonna the first female soloist to achieve this since current records began (which admittedly was only 6 years prior). Kylie's debut album has outsold all of Madonna's studio albums. It was the biggest album of 1988 which is something I don't think Madonna has done.- Neon Nights Remixed ● Record Store Day release

I do like that the album cover looks very 00s pop princess inspired, I just don't like that it doesn't match the vibe of the music at all.- Bedtime Stories ● Survivor Round 4

Hope it fixes itself soon, I'm off to Sugababes and was hoping to put their setlist playlist on in the car! 😭- Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 11/04/25
Mine lets me play everything in my library but when I go to search songs it says there's no internet connection. Glad it's not just me because I was about to chuck my Wifi box out the window. 😂- The Virgin Tour ● 40 years on
It's 40 years since Madonna commenced her debut tour, aptly titled The Virgin Tour. The tour saw Madonna perform across North America from April to June 1985 in support of her first two albums. Beastie Boys were the opening act and Patrick Leonard - who would go on to work on Madonna's next two albums - directed the tour. Tickets were sold out and grossed $5m revenue. The Detroit show was recorded and released on VHS as Madonna Live: The Virgin Tour, however performances of 'Angel', 'Borderline' and 'Burning Up' were cut.- Rihanna - US Number One Singles Survivor 2025 - Round 1
'S&M' - love the original and whilst I don't totally dislike the Britney remix, her vocals are very jarring on it. 'Work' - catchy but just doesn't hit the same standard as a lot of songs here. Controversial perhaps but I'll be gunning for 'What's My Name' after this.- iTunes, Streaming & YouTube
Congratulations to 'La Isla Bonita' passing 500m merged streams on Spotify. Just a few days away from becoming Madonna's first video to pass 1 billion views on YouTube too!- Bedtime Stories ● Survivor Round 3
