I had no idea ‘Sunshine’ was so close to 900k! I think the fact we’ve had to rely on the Platinum certification as no total sales have been revealed made me think it was a lot closer to 600k than 900k. Looking at the end of year charts, it seems it was on ~850k by the end of 2002.

7 Platinum certified songs but she has 8 songs over 600k+ as 'I Should Be So Lucky' has sold 800k+ (or maybe its ninth as 'The Loco-motion' might have hit 600k total sales now).

Thrilled to see 'Love at First Sight' certified Platinum! Should have been a #1 for her, as it could have been if released a week earlier! It has averaged 1,227 chart sales in the 163 weeks that has passed since it was certified Gold, up from the 687 it was averaging at the point of going Gold. Curious to know if 'Padam Padam' is still shifting more units a week or if 'Love at First Sight' is now Kylie's second most consumed on a weekly basis. Six more years until it reaches a million!

Nothing beats Atomic Kitten

The more I think about it, I do understand why from a narrative perspective they have that leap from 2006-2019. They address issues of ageism when they get to 2019 and after spending a lot of time on her first cancer diagnosis they probably wanted to focus on something extremely positive like the Glastonbury performance. I imagine they (or Kylie) wanted to avoid any mention of Joshua Sasse too. I think her Glasto performance of ‘All the Lovers’ was used and I think I remember seeing clips from the Aphrodite Tour, which would be the biggest highlight of that era.

Agreed, unless it’s a fully definitive collection and added rarities (with various editions so the public can choose according to how much of a fan they are) then I don’t think we need a brand new collection. I’m here for adding ‘Padam Padam’ and maybe some others to the digital version of the 2019 greatest hits though, or even to future physical copies. We are long due a rarities collection and the 40th anniversary will be the perfect time (and presumably Kylie will have the rights to most of the songs now?). I’d love to see another Anti Tour to promote the collection too!

Glad we finally have a full video but at the same time it feels a bit underwhelming to receive it so late. I’ve moved on now - give me a full length video for ‘Danceteria’!

Absolutely ‘Danceteria’ but I’m also wanting to hear ‘One Step Away’ in full too, sounded good at The Abbey gig and it’s great to hear Madonna really sing. There is 30 second clips available for the previewed songs so people can use it as an audio on social media and the vocal production sounds really good, whereas it’s not as polished on other songs.

Read this as ‘gutted’ and thought “wow was it really that bad?”

Huge increase for Human Nature!

A lot to digest from the film but wow! ‘Danceteria’ section - both the song and video - is a highlight (need that song released now!).

Yeah this is missing for me too. There’s the foundations of a really great song here but the final result is underwhelming to me. I want to really like this but it’s just not happening.

I've been favouring the Peggy Gou remix to the original recently! Madonna remixes have generally been pretty mid for the last few eras but this is great.

This was stuck in my head all day at work yesterday and I've given it multiple spins today already. The sound quality is a little muffled but I can overlook it. I too love the French house style production, I can see it sounding glorious in the sunshine.
