I shall be voting! I had a deep dive into Sophie's discography after 'Murder on the Dancefloor' had its renaissance, so many great discoveries as well as revisiting some songs I hadn't heard in years.

Couple of sales from Music Week's January edition: Glory Days 1,339,799 Shout Out to My Ex 2,527,097

It's always been one of her best from the early years but I've found myself loving it even more this past couple of years. I was very happy to see if on the Tension Tour setlist after years of being overlooked! I'm finding myself thinking how epic a Shep Pettibone remix could have sounded like if PWL allowed it. I also wonder how it would have faired as second single, like originally planned. They could easily have released it in the summer and kept the October release for 'Step Back in Time' - why even was there a six month wait between the first and second singles?

Hope it is restored soon! I regularly listen to ‘Lead the Way’ and ‘Never Too Far’.

This largely sums up a lot of my initial thoughts on the song. I think I can say I like it now (or perhaps, more accurately, accept it for what it is) but I think it could be so much better if the production lifted into something bigger or the vocals didn't sound like they were recorded in the toilet. The "we belong together hook" is catchy and there's elements of the production that I really like and am interested to see explored further on the album.

Victoria is #1 on the ‘!!!’ Spotify playlist which is basically a list of current viral songs. Nice that we can more or less confirm total sales of 100k plus! I’m really hoping the upward trend can continue into the next week. It would be such a thrill to see her in the Top 200 on Spotify!

100k streams wow! I know it’s low by other peoples standards but, considering it wasn’t even doing 1k streams, that is pretty major!

I guess it’s definitely increased 25% this week! 😂

It is lovely, but a bit more of the same really so it's hard to get really excited about it. Jessie got a little bit too used to this.

I've just checked and it's far too low unfortunately. 'Head' was certified 3x Platinum in January 2024 and should be on 2.041m by now. :( Fingers crossed we get an update from Music Week later! It won't chart but hopefully it'll be a significant bit of news to report. Alan Jones did post sales for Britney's 'Selfish' when that went #1 on iTunes in recent times.

I don't think those sales are correct unfortunately. This is what I posted in January 2024 when 'Head' was certified 3x Platinum: 106 weeks later and its total should stand at 2.041m. For the above sales to be correct, it would only have averaged 1,063 chart sales a week which is far too low.

It’s a nice album but the three pre-album singles are easily the best. It does feel like she’s cosplaying as other artists at times (Ariana on ‘locket theme’, Billie on ‘for the night’, Rina on ‘bittersweet’).
