Kinda second guessing how well these will do now based on how the Madonna vinyl reissues did last week (none made the Top 40 on sales). Granted, Kylie has a stronger fanbase for physical products in the UK and some of these have been long out of production (or on vinyl for first time in regards to X) but I wonder if none will end up Top 40.

I think collaborating on a remix, especially a song that received comparisons to Kylie when the album was released, works better than collaborating on a brand new song; it removes the pressure of it having to be the best song ever and that inevitable disappointment when it doesn’t live up to expectations.

Nice! Guessing physicals are significantly higher this time around.

I’m not expecting it to chart tbh and I don’t think there will be a physical at any point (this is a Madonna release after all, not Kylie’s) but it’ll no doubt go straight to #1 on iTunes and give a bit of hype/promo for the album).

I think it’s signalled as a new entry if it’s new to the Top 40.

I'm so pleased there's a constructive conversation being held here! Ariana's weight has concerned me for a number of years now but I've been reluctant to bring it up because I thought it would be taken the wrong way. I get that there's a culture now of it being frowned upon to talk about people's bodies and on the most part that was a direction that needed to be taken, but it's got to a point where we have to not believe our eyes and pretend everything's fine when in fact there is a legitimate concern. I've seen a lot of fans use Ariana's lyrics and messages as a defense against people bringing up these concerns, but of course she's not going to admit to things if she's in the middle of some sort of trauma. Not that we should be privy to everything about Ariana's personal life either, but to pretend there's nothing wrong is not helpful or kind at all. I can't stand Jameela half the time but she is right on the money with her online comments and I'm glad someone of status has spoken on this topic with the reassurance it comes from a place of love.

Shame it couldn’t hold Top 40 but sales are so close the further down the charts you go and there’s that many greatest hits to contend with.
