  1. Howling at the fact the TV airplay chart goes down to #1764! Are there even enough music channels for at least 1764 different songs to be played in a week?
  2. Today should be a national holiday!
  3. So ‘Love Sensation’ is a track title and it’s on the deluxe but in between the standard edition songs. So we’ll have two different transitions for the songs either side of it. Edit: oh this is cool!
  4. He says at the end that all three episodes drop on Wednesday - I assumed it would be staggered but more than happy to binge watch all three in one go!
  5. Guessing the song in question is ‘Light Up’; sounds like we might hear it in the first episode as well as the last, so it makes sense them releasing it on Wednesday.
  6. Nearly 100k daily streams for In Your Eyes too!
  7. Liam.k. posted a post in a topic in Television
In shock at who they’re killing off!
  8. 184,617 streams for the remix yesterday, just behind the original which had 205,128. I think this is one of the best Madonna remixes in recent years! Love the slightly-unpolished, early hi-NRG sound - I saw one review compare it to Divine which is spot on. It’s a remix that feels authentic to the 80s dance scene that this album promises to capture. Also loving this playlist to promote it:
  9. Agreed! To be the lowest of the three Body Language singles is definitely a surprise.
  10. A new entry at #85 this week: Hideous.
  11. Gutted there’s no ‘Slow Motion Fire’ with Kylie tbh.
  12. Don’t really know what to expect sales wise. Rebel Heart did 37k and Madame X did 27k - I imagine Confessions II will out do the latter and I’d be happy with similar sales to Rebel Heart.
  13. Been seeing quite a few TikTok dances to the “set me free” part. Should easily make 1m daily when the Netflix doc comes out.
  14. Yeah that is a shame. There’s still the ‘!!!’ Playlist that shows viral songs but guessing it’s worldwide.
  15. No mention of ‘Love Sensation’ or ‘Forgive Yourself’, guessing these have different titles to what we first thought.
  16. Huge news! Really strong post-album coverage. I guess with three acts performing it’ll be two songs each max which will probably be a Confessions II song and ‘Like a Prayer’ for Madonna, although personally I’d love to see her so ‘Into the Groove’ - that would go down massively with the football crowd.
  17. More details emerging:
  18. A review of four new songs from Madonna biographer Lucy O’Brien:
  19. Well it looks like you might be right on the money!
  20. The official description reads: “It unfolds as a single, continuous piece, weaving together interconnected, musicdriven sequences into an immersive cinematic experience. A film that gives physicality to the music, ‘Confessions II’ lives in the tension between control and surrender, between being seen and disappearing into a crowd. Each song unfolds across six chapters, each one a sexy thriller, a dance delusion, an epic fever dream. Like the album, it blurs distinction between tracks, building cosmic narratives that follow a twisted dream logic.” The film centers around a f***ed-up night out, and through it all – the ambushing, the worshipping, the pursuit – everything leads back to the hallowed ground: the dancefloor.
