  1. Based on the totals we got for the album in 2019 and 2020, 'Kiss Me Once' would be on ~95,700 if it has continued selling at the same rate and would pass Gold in early 2027.
  2. This is decent, but doesn’t sound like his voice at all! I thought it was Paolo Nutini or someone.
  3. I've just completed a full album listen to commemorate the 10th anniversary - I've always enjoyed most of the album but it was sounding particularly good today after not listening to it in a long time! It's a very uplifting, breezy album. Even the likes of 'I Was Gonna Cancel' and 'Sexy Love', which I have always considered two of the weak moments, were sounding decent. I'd still swap them out for some of the outtakes, songs like 'Golden Boy', 'Waiting for the Sun' and the Garibay tracks are too good to be left on the cutting room floor! On the album itself, 'Into the Blue', 'Feel So Good', 'If Only', 'Kiss Me Once' and 'Fine' are all top tier, plus bonus track 'Sleeping with the Enemy' is one of my all time faves.
  4. 1. Dance Alone 2. Dance Alone (Ofenbach remix) 3. Dance Alone (Kito remix) 4. Dance Alone (Malibu Babie remix) 5. Dance Alone (Pure Shores remix) 6. Dance Alone (Gab Rhome remix) 7. Dance Alone (extended mix) 8. Dance Alone (slowed down) 9. Dance Alone (sped up)
  5. This article does a really good job at summing up my thoughts on the song. Yes, it was a clear attempt at winning back US radio and adopts a sound that was already established in the charts, but it doesn't deny this being a really catchy and well-produced song. I think that's what holds up most about the song the further we get from its release and, given how hit and miss a lot of Madonna's material was over the 2010s, I'd take good quality trend-following any day!
  6. Wow, really heartfelt message from Kylie there!
  7. Mad that we're probably still 3 and a half years off getting a vinyl for 'X'. :( We could have got one for the 15th anniversary but I suppose they didn't want to detract from the 'Impossible Princess' vinyl release. Fingers crossed for 'Aphrodite' re-released on vinyl next year!
  8. Happy 10th birthday to ‘Kiss Me Once’! @1768190116013494351
  9. Headliners have been announced: Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA and, playing the legends slot, Shania Twain. So no Madonna this year!
  10. Also #105 on the album download chart. Nowhere to be seen in the Top 200 albums. I really thought it could get a decent re-entry thanks to the BRITs, sad to see it not chart at all!
  11. From Music Week: Debut album passes 1m! :cheer:
  12. Finished reading that article too and loved it! This is the sort of pop insight I crave! I'd love them to do this for their other albums - I want to know more about their version of 'Made of Glass' that was written in the 'Chemistry' sessions but was recorded by Kylie instead. Agreed! I guess it wasn't just about chart performance, it was also perceptions of the girls' image and not yet distinguishing their own personalities; would this be a band people wanted to buy into long-term?
  13. It exists! Not that I'm expecting much but hope the video is better than that preview suggests. Like is this part of the video shoot: (Also, just to make you happy SmileyKylie, I've pinned this thread! :D)
  14. 'Sound of the Underground' was #21 on the Wednesday update so 'Neighbours' is literally one place behind again. I fear this is destined to just miss out on the Top 40 as well! :(
  15. Yes! I really like this outtake. Get 'Spanish Lesson' off the album and put 'Across the Sky' in its place! I think it would well leading into 'Devil' too.
  16. Yikes, down to #31 in the update today! :(
  17. List of summer gigs: 1/2 June: Outloud Festival (US) 13 July: BST Hyde Park (UK) 19 July: Splendour in the Grass (Australia)
  18. No sign of a tour yet but Kylie has a few gigs signed up this summer! It's been announced she's headlining Splendour in the Grass (Australia) and Outloud Festival (West Hollywood Park, US). We also know she's a headliner at BST Hyde Park in the UK. @1767929359497625899 @1767498357881156049
  19. Copied from PopJustice. Will give a read later! @1767835033149071409
  20. Going with ‘Candy Shop’!
  21. Liam.k. posted a post in a topic in Madonna's Madonna
    Little bit of 'Hollywood':
  22. Interestingly this is where 'Neon Nights 20' appeared on the Monday update. That was with 2,323 sales so 'Body Language' might be on similar numbers. The album fell to #27 on the Wednesday update and ended up at #55 officially with 2,564 sales, so will be interesting to see if 'Body Language' follows the same.
