Yes, yes and yes! It's a great moment on the album, the dance-driven beats evoke the sound of early-90s Madonna so it offers a more familiar, lighter moment compared to the other songs, and lyrically it acts as a great centerpiece as it sums up the influence of the album in a more condensed way. The distorted, static sound at the beginning resembles to me the disorder of Madonna's life before the birth of Lourdes and I love the slightly melancholy feel of the middle 8. It's been one of Madonna's underrated songs for years which is why I'm so glad to see it get some recognition from being the opening song on the Celebration Tour. I love how it incorporates the Club 69 remix that features on 'Finally Enough Love', one of my favourite remixes!

!! :lol: I've cleaned it a few times and it's improved a lot, so might just be fingerprints rather than scratches on the vinyl. The whole packaging is a beauty. I love the inner gatefold and the red blood vinyl! The album cover is underrated too, I think it's up there with 'Light Years' and 'Fever'! It would have been #3 if released a week earlier, assuming it sold the same amount of course. Still, those sales were half that of 'Fever' (69k vs. 139k) and I think all involved would have expected more.

Received my vinyl and it immediately starts skipping! :( Apparently this has been an issue for a few people. Not what Kylie meant when she sings "skip a beat and move with my body".

That's what I think too, but talk about setting someone up to fail! Why not be the first of your own kind rather than a second version of an existing artist?

After all these years, Madonna and Kylie finally united on stage during Madonna's Celebration Tour where they sang 'Can't Get Yout Out of My Head' and 'I Will Survive'. It's an interaction that fans have wanted for years, but would you want them to go one step further and record a single together? Or is it enough satisfaction just having them share the stage together? What is the ideal style of music you would want from a Madonna/Kylie collab?

#11 on the sales chart and #6 on vinyl. I imagine it passed 2k which is pretty good going considering the vinyl is like £55. Would have been Top 40 if it had streams added to it.

'Finally Enough Love' is #90 on the streaming chart so no such luck, I'm afraid!

Same for me, really! Other than when I listened to ‘Something to Remember’, it wasn’t a song I returned to much on its own, but it’s such a tender song with really powerful lyrics; I love how it looks upon a negative experience and takes positive lessons from it. I view the song as being about a failed relationship but instead of regretting that it’s over, it’s more thankful that it existed in the first place. The William Orbit remixes are great, I know we view ‘Bedtime Story’ as the blueprint for the ‘Ray of Light’ era but the influence can be traced back to here, what with the Patrick Leonard penned, reflective lyrics matched with ambient Orbit produced production.
