I seem to recall her last album being released in a competitive week and could have been a Top 5 if released in the weeks previous. Still, amazing sales for Mel, she’s really worked her fanbase!

I Feel So Free is definitely Confessions-esque as it’s basically an updated Future Lovers. Bring Your Love is a banger, admittedly no Hung Up or Sorry, but then it also feels like the right sort of song to release right now. I love them both but have definitely been getting more out of Bring Your Love as an individual release whereas I Feel So Free is a mood piece to set the tone for the album.

I was expecting them to say something like ‘Sweat’ has already outsold the total of her self-titled and given a new total. Hey, maybe it means it hasn’t and the self-titled is on 20k+!

Not bad, does feel a little 'One Kiss' inspired but I agree the song on top of the production just doesn't quite hit the mark.

I really struggle with the way they’ve recorded the vocals on this (apply this to the rest of the album actually); the production is kinda cool but very sparse so it requires a vocal that really commands attention yet this sounds like he recorded it two rooms away from the microphone. It just makes the whole thing fall flat

Here for ‘Legendary Lovers’ taking off! I’d have preferred this as a single over ‘Unconditionally’ which I’ve always found a bit mid, a song that tries to sound epic but falls flat (same applies to ‘Wide Awake’).
