I thought maybe they were waiting for Tension II to pass but then her debut album vinyl last year was on pre-order same time as Tension. Still, it went up for pre-order a month after it’s anniversary so maybe Enjoy Yourself will be announced in November?

Don’t think this has been mentioned yet but Kylie has been nominated for Best Australian Act at the MTV EMA’s this year after previously winning it in 2023.

Yes it would be nice to see Dancing pop up, it was her first certified hit since 2011 until Padam Padam came along so it shouldn’t be left forgotten. Kylie did perform it this year - I think at the same gig she premiered Midnight Ride - so it seems possible.

Definitely more familiar with the first one. I’m sure I’ve heard a third version that uses the slower intro in the second video but is otherwise the same as the first, as I don’t recognise the rest of the second video. I know it’s a classic but this song has always just been “there” for me. I can bop to it on a night out but there’s bucket loads of other 90s dance music I’d chose to hear over this.

Jay I LOVE this setlist! The opening and closing two tracks are what I had in mind too and I'd be surprised if they weren't what they went with (maybe with the order of each pairing of songs swapped around). I think a PWL medley is very likely and I hadn't thought about a 'Disco' medley but that would be a good way of giving the era the spotlight it deserves without taking away from the 'Tension' era too much. I agree that 'Say Something' deserves its own moment though. After Kylie mentioned it in a recent interview, I do think the Brothers in Rhythm remix of 'Confide in Me' will be incorporated to the performance. I'd love it if Kylie dedicated a section of the tour to the Deconstruction era, particularly as she's cited 'Impossible Princess' as a possible inspiration for her next album. Perhaps as a medley? The likes of 'Too Far' and 'Limbo' would fit in with the club vibe she's going for with 'Tension II' and she often tries to get 'Breathe' somewhere on the setlist. Based on recent gig setlists, I think we'll be getting 'Come Into My World' and 'Red Blooded Woman' on this tour (SO here for it with the latter!).

I think there's some really beautiful instrumentals on the album, particularly on the title track (love the lyric "be more like the sky and welcome every kind of weather" too) and the opening minute of 'Aeterna'. I just wasn't grabbed by a lot of the songs themselves. 'We Pray' is really good though and an interesting sound for the band to take; I also think 'Good Feelings' sound like a single and reminiscent of the 'A Head Full of Dreams' sound. I don't think I've ever listened to a full Coldplay album before this one, despite liking a lot of their singles. Perhaps one day I'll devote some time to listening through them all.

Totally agree, felt very moved reading that. Everyone knows about the book he wrote about her and their relationship falling apart after that, so it was really nice to see a post focusing on the positives. I’m glad they reconnected before his death.

Nothing has been confirmed yet but there’s rumours online that Madonna’s brother Christopher has passed away. This just a week after the passing of her stepmother Joan. What a horrible time for the family, my thoughts go out to them. :(

It’s been a hectic week so I’ve not had chance to comment until now, but I’ve been obsessed with this. You can tell it’s by the same producer as Padam Padam but it doesn’t feel like a rip off, I love the fast energy and every lyric feels like a hook. The video is such a serve as well, so much replay value for me. I love the part where Kylie walks down the track with longer hair, she looks like a supermodel! So many great looks towards the camera as well. This video works great back-to-back with What Do I Have to Do. A shame the physicals weren’t released in the first week to ensure a Top 40 hit, but honestly the fact Kylie is this far into her career and still with a chance of hitting Top 40 with each single is just unprecedented.
