It’s the first I’ve heard of it but I looked it up and apparently the body was found in a car registered to him last week, but they’ve only identified the body today. Apparently he’s still touring but in “Co-operation with police”.

Taken from Sophie's instagram. Sophie posted that Dannii was "shooting something very fun" and to "watch this space", but given it was at QVC I wouldn't bet on it being anything music related. Dannii commented "So great to see this kind and talented icon today - I am a mega fan ♥️"

I like 'Angel' - it's not the most essential Madonna single, especially considering the singles that surround it, but I like it. I wonder what ideas they had for the scrapped video. Would 'Angel' have been more successful with one or would it have been overshadowed by the many other Madonna videos that were being played?

Apparently Madonna was in London this week shooting the album cover! Based on previous dates of the album photoshoot and album release, it would suggest the album will be released December/January. Perhaps we'll get the new single/album announcement in November for the 20th anniversary of 'Confessions'?

I saw the video of the shooting and it’s horrifying. Knocked me for six really. My feelings are, regardless of his views, he is a husband and a father and no one deserves what happened to him.

The amount of people on Twitter that think Den is the father. People need to retake their biology lessons. 😂 I'm hoping the fact Zoe had twins means they'll address Zoe's twin brother... Intrigued by the Max twist. I'm guessing he's not the father either though. Simon Ashdown episode tomorrow who always writes well for Max. I had hoped that this week was a bit more stripped back in regards to the Kat/Zoe scenes. I keep thinking back to the "you ain't my mother" week in 2001 where the full week was carried by the phenomenal performances of the cast and extremely well written scripts. I don't think the Kat/Zoe scenes this week were as fully fleshed out as they could have been.

I’ve heard rumours of her having Anthony’s kid when Zoe was written out the show for a bit in 2002/3 due issues Michelle Ryan was having in her personal life. I suppose Zoe giving up a child would be something she would consider so awful that she would avoid Kat for so many years.

Maybe it's because I've just re-watched the Kat/Zoe week in 2001 (i.e. one of the best weeks of EastEnders, if not the best), but the scenes in tonight's episode weren't hitting as much as I wanted them to. I think the script could be stronger and go deeper. Spoiler I'm also not thrilled about it seeming like Kat or Zoe got shot, I think there's enough drama to be had through dialogue between the two rather than this sensational angle, although I appreciate it would give Zoe a reason to stay with either outcome.

Aww this one should be higher! This appeared on the first Doctor Who DVD I owned along with the following two episodes and I watched it so many times, so there is a lot of nostalgia there for me but I do think it genuinely is a great episode. There is so much action and suspense and it is supported by a fantastic soundtrack - the scene with werewolf transforming and Rose encouraging everyone to break the chains is a solid example of this. David Tennant's portrayal of the Doctor here is so fresh, exciting and fun; there's a sort of innocence to it. I suppose it's a contrast to the more serious portrayal of Christopher Eccleston's Doctor and Tennant's Doctor was yet to experience the hurt of losing Rose which was always there in context in Series 3 and 4. Much like Simon Callow in The Unquiet Dead, I completely buy Pauline Collins as Queen Victoria. Love the running gag of Rose attempting and finally succeeding in getting her to say "I am not amused"!

Agreed with your thoughts here! I really like the failed companion angle and the Doctor's response is interesting to consider when going into the following episode where it's Rose that 'abuses' her position. I think everything that happens below Floor 500 is really intriguing; when the action moves upstairs, it loses me slightly. I actually found The Editor a bit annoying and what exactly was the purpose of the Jagrafess controlling people's lives by manipulating the news? Is that addressed? I might have to go back and watch. Regardless, the episode ends on a high with Adam's mum's hilarious reaction to his head-chip! Also fun to see Anna-Maxwell Martin quite early in her career.

This would probably be my last place for Series 1 as well, either this or The End of the World. Not that there’s anything wrong with either of them - as you say, the standard for Series 1 is so high - but I always find the Slitheen two-parter is where the action and the depth really sets in. Love all the moments of Rose coming to terms with actually travelling to the past - small things like placing her foot in the snow and seeing her footprint conveys so much. I too really like Simon Callow’s portrayal of Charles Darwin, I fully accept that it’s really him.
