'Camera' is being performed on the Graham Norton Show on 7th November: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002lt8x Not sure how big an effect Graham Norton performances have these days but back in the day it probably would turn this into a big hit.

I'm not sure a physical was ever released in the UK so it might just be from imports, but yes I think you're pretty much right.
  3. Posted the full positions in the iTunes thread but this remix is doing much better than ‘Right on Time’ did - Top 5 in the UK and #1 in Italy and US!

  5. The album has a release date of 22 November 2024 on Spotify - was this when it was originally meant to be released? It would be nice if this was the year 'Not Santa Tonight' finally charted! Would need some decent showing on the Christmas playlists. A CD/vinyl single would be nice as well but I guess they want to focus on selling the album. The party mix is ok but I think loses the charm of the original. Ooh I see we're getting a video for 'Not Santa Tonight'! Available from today on digital platforms, the album's launched with focus track Not Tonight Santa and its previously unreleased Christmas Party Mix, to be accompanied by a video featuring unseen footage of all five of the girls from the Girls Aloud Christmas archive.
  6. 'Human Nature [Howie Tee New Edit]' is released tonight. You can already here the full length version on the 'Human Nature' remix EP.
  7. They’re teasing Christmas lyrics on their insta stories!

  9. Is it not for you? :(
  10. Oh thank you! Will check it out
  11. It’s a fair point, a bit like how disco revived again during lockdown (was probably going to happen anyway but it did seem like people were seeking uplifting, party music at a time everything was shut down).
  12. This month marked 30 years since the release of ‘Where the Wild Roses Grow’, a collaboration between Kylie and Nick Cave for his album ‘Murder Ballads’. Share your thoughts and memories below!
  13. Results Amazing
  14. How far does the data go back as well? What were the total figures for the Fever Tour? Would also be interesting to see all the tour revenue with inflation adjusted.
  15. Of all the talk we've had of a current DJ/producer remixing a Kylie song, I don't think this song has ever been suggested when it actually would be the perfect choice! I could see some doing something really great with this.
  16. Tbf Zara's version is out-doing Kylie's on Spotify (3.5m compared to 800k).
  17. Yeah the artwork is great - might not have been intentional but I like the idea of the men representing SAW and Kylie feeling artistically trapped.

It kinda makes sense to me. 'No Shame' felt like a low key release compared to previous albums and lead single 'Trigger Bang' made no impact. I think this album would do even worse so a quick release is probably the best way to make maximum impact online at least. Big fan of Lily's music - the first two albums are classics but 'No Shame' might actually be my favourite. Some seriously strong songs on there and a big step up from 'Sheezus' which might have had three or four decent songs!

‘Amnesia’ is SO GOOD! Gave ‘Scary’ a listen after seeing it charting on iTunes and thought it was pretty catchy! Been a long time since I heard ‘Femme Fetale’ but this song could be better than a fair few songs that did make the cut.

  21. I recognise Theo Hutchcraft's name as the lead singer of Hurts! LOVE the album cover. It's very Grace Jones coded!
  22. This so catchy!! I do understand the criticisms of it being a bit too repetitive, both in the lyrics and the production. The "set yourself free" verse breaks up the repetition nicely but maybe the final chorus could go off a bit more. I reckon there will be "meatier" songs on the album though and this works well as statement piece. I also think there could be some fire remixes. Call me stupid but I never made the association of this song's theme and the brand of Sporty Spice! Also, Melanie's body is incredible! *.*
  23. Some more Madonna songs have had their streams across multiple versions merged. The 'GHV2' version of 'Frozen' is still counting separately:
  24. Damn, was expecting it to end up missing out on the Top 40 following the Wednesday update but not to be as low as #58! Oh well, seems the staggered released didn't cost it a Top 10 placing (I imagine it would have been lower than #11 even if all releases aligned with that first release). #62 for 'Right On Time' in the sales chart (I always have to correct myself typing 'Ride On Time'!)
