Yeah something to do with it being available as part of the album pre-order I think so even downloads of the song itself didn’t count. I remember there was a big deal about the exclusive first play from Capital (think it was connected to the radio deal she had for it in America) but the song really didn’t connect. It came across as a bit of a joke to all my school friends compared to ‘4 Minutes’ which was cool to like. Also agree that there was a big turning point at the turn of the 2010s when it came to radio and playing certain artists. Feel like it was when Galaxy FM (remember that?) turned into Captial FM.

He’s referring to the last Top 40 (which was 2015 but the song was released in 2014 for everywhere but the UK which were still holding back releases at that time). One hour to go!

A shame she released a dud in Give Me All Your Lovin’ which killed her support!

I think it’s so every country gets the song at the exact same time rather than midnight in the respective time zone.
