@1889754880354435256 Okay I am PERCHED for this!
  4. I know what you mean. I think the previews sound fine but I’m not crazy about them, I feel like any enjoyment has already peaked before even hearing the full thing. I have really liked a few Alok songs in the past - namely ‘Deep Down’ with Ella Eyre and ‘All By Myself’ with Ellie Goulding. Maybe I’d like this Kylie one more with a shameless sample involved!
  5. Right, ‘Someone for Me’ REALLY needs to go now. I wish I heard what other people were hearing. Other than that it’s the perfect final few!
  6. So not this Friday but Friday after, first Friday of the tour?
  7. @1887592305051508946 Love the vinyl colour! Depending on the tracking list I might purchase!

Ooh I have loads of these! I do know that Britney’s Toxic instrumental goes with EVERYTHING.

Yeah I wouldn’t say there was a snobbery towards international acts. As Scene says it is the BRITs after all and it does feel like the charts are too overwhelmed with American acts sometimes so it’s nice to bring the focus back to homegrown talent. There was that period where the international categories were downgraded a lot and I am glad they have brought back some of those categories. The international awards do act as a way of negotiating international acts to perform at the BRITs. I do sometimes wonder how American acts look at the BRITs in terms of prestige, like the Grammys are seen as the highest tier of award for an act to receive.
  10. I’m so excited to see the setlist! She has a lot to pack in so I’m hoping for a couple of decent medleys.
  11. Wasn't the Robbie soundtrack available to download prior to its physical release? That probably accounts for the unaccounted sales.

  13. 'Over and Over' is over and out and we're left with the four singles. Definitely 'Angel' to go now.
  14. I agree. 'Dear Jessie' was a big hit for Madonna in the UK (bigger than 'Express Yourself' and 'Cherish' on physical sales!) so I can't say it was a wrong choice of single, but I'd have personally preferred a full release for 'Oh Father' and 'Keep It Together'. I think the two songs compliment each other nicely, presenting the beginning and end of Madonna's journey regarding her relationship with her family. I thought it was quite impressive how 'Keep It Together' climbed all the way to #8 in the US when 'Oh Father' stalled at #20, but then I realised every Madonna release since 'Lucky Star' had gone Top 5 so it's more that 'Oh Father' was just an anomaly. Wonder why it all went wrong for that single?
  15. Results: 5. Over and Over 6. Love Don't Live Here Anymore 7. Stay 8. Shoo-Bee-Doo 9. Pretender
  16. @1888708692394246623 We love to see it! :cheer:

Meanwhile I booked the full week off work!
  18. 'Break the Ice' is Silver! :cheer: It was behind 'My Prerogative' in August 2022 when we last got an update from the OCC. I imagine that is still in line for the next Silver certification, followed by 'Boys' (although I suspect we could be waiting a long time for that).
  19. I would guess not considered 'Angels With Dirty Faces' didn't include the bonus tracks. Nice to see they're still going ahead with more Sugababes vinyl, but I do hope 'Three' gets a release at some point too. 'Taller in More Ways' has strong singles but, as an album, it's my second least favourite.
  20. I'd like to think anyone that really wanted it will be able to. There will be less demand than the reissues for the main 'Neon Nights' album and they managed a couple of thousand copies across different formats.
