  1. I was waiting for French release because traditionally French cinema market is one of the biggest in Europe. So, it's good to see a good result there. Only I don't understand why it notes 15-26 Jan while it started on Jan-22. But hope this result is correct.

  3. Thanks Riser! Fixed a mistake. Very good song, btw.

THANK you! Tess, you was right ;)
  5. Emma is fully deserved to be added, yes :)
  6. OK, added Wings stats. --- Yes, it is more about albums. But. Oasis could release their new single around summer Tour dates - any effect could be then. Again, while Elton John (or Tom Jones much earlier) can record with young acts why for example Robbie or Paul couldn't? I remember this great single by Rihanna, Kanye and Paul - FourFiveSeconds. Number 3, if I'm not wrong. Or for example, Wonderwall and Angels never been #1. Who knows one day... So, if somebody would ask me to bet even 1K USD on the fact nobody of them will never get another #1 I wouldn't do that =))
  7. Spice Girls have: 2x Number #1 Albums 16x Number #1 Singles (9 - SG, 4 - Geri, 2 - Mel C, 1 - Mel B) So, not enough for Top-3 =( But we can add and make it Top-4, no problems! --- Yes, thanks, let me do my homework with Wings and Traveling Wilburys. Must be added, for sure!
  8. Regarding post above I decided to open a thread here with more details. If you're interested: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=277754
  9. Hi all! Welcome to (The) Greatest Chart Run Ever. A few years ago I decided to follow to the charts of these UK bands (and their members combined) more carefully and after this Friday Chart news I suppose it'd would be interesting to do this together since now. Only Number #1s (Albums & Singles) make sense. You could ask me why there is no The Rolling Stones but while we're into Charts threads it's not so interesting to look at the band's stats only (1x Number 1 of Mick is not so interesting for stats). Same with Queen. So, based on current statistics of UK OCC Chart history, this is Top-3 of the biggest (band) acts: The Beatles, Take That, Oasis. https://www.officialcharts.com/ Very important to understand I'm combining their joint and seperate efforts through the music history. All of them still record or publish new releases together or seperately, so it's difficult to separate them from each other, IMO. Well, why did I choose this title for a thread? I like the movie's title The Greatest Beer Run Ever :D. Check it out when you will have some time. What can I say more? Oh! Of course! Please fix me and tell if I did any mistakes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OVERALL STATS: THE BEATLES (incl.band & solo efforts) Number #1 Albums - 29 Number #1 Singles - 27 TAKE THAT (incl.band & solo efforts) Number #1 Albums - 27 Number #1 Singles - 22 OASIS (incl.band & solo efforts) Number #1 Albums - 18 Number #1 Singles - 8 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STATS IN DETAILS: THE BEATLES The Beatles Number #1 Albums (15): Please Please Me (1963), With The Beatles (1963), A Hard Day's Night (1964), Beatles For Sale (1964), Help! 11. Just some reminding how perfect they both were on this track. This is my mother Rob's fave track :) This record is 10/10. Still think it's my favourite Robbie's album - and what even more irony it had been my his 1st ever album I heard. Still remember this evening very very well. xF8nMPIPKHY

  13. What a good news is still there? ;) Well, in 2000 when The Beatles got their 15th Number 1 Album sir Paul McCartney was 58 years and there was no Internet. Robbie got his 15th Number 1 Album at 50 years. Internet is here but let's count it wasn't due to bad marketing works in a recent years. So, there are lot of years to secure his treasure for next decades. But better begin to do that now. More important to ask will be there the right and clever people around him for supporting nowadays? I HOPE yes. Again, same same words about Take That. These two arts have SO great background so it's possible to make a magic for many generations in a row.
  14. Thanks Liz! Good adding to my thoughts. You did understand me very well. This THIS Yes. The work must be continue even when the artist himself on rest - the team does work instead of him during that time. THIS Same thoughts So again, people say 'not good marketing for Better Man'. Fully disagree with that. The marketing was and is good for Better Man. I'd say 4+/5. But all works around and before is out of words. There was no any work. And THAT's the reason general people think Robbie hasn't released a new music since 2016. (while he released 7 albums since then)

  17. Paramount are decided do not publish US box office results since yesterday (good step), so since now we're looking for International box office only
  18. Here is my post not about US specifically but about Robbie or Take That treasure in history. Just look at the official The Beatles website and choose Stories link in the menu: https://www.thebeatles.com/ That's HOW need to work. The Beatles have more news or 'news' per month than Robbie or Take That combined per year. So, back to the movie - it's not a mistake of movie itself (which is perfect) but all stuff around the events, occasions, releases. Now and then. It's mgmt work what they don't want to do through the years. Because they are too lazy. Maybe I should remind you about merch? So boring everytime... I can do better in a week. Very pity that boys don't have a marketing team/s what follows them in a right way. --- Again, I'm not talking about fresh artists, like Harry, Billy, etc. I'm talking about the band which is not here for ~50 years. Old Best of Elton John has 10x times more streamings on Spotify than Robbie's new OST. What? Yes, just check out their last two releases and compare. Come on!!! Just remind you Spotify is not US instrument, it's Swedish. And what? Where is Better Man logo on FC Barcelona jerseys like Coldplay had? Everybody likes to repeat BETTER MAN has a big budget. THANKS GOD. This is my answer. Finally they have had a good money to make a great product, otherwise you get Morning Sun video. But what about all work around? Who will do that? Fans? Well, then I'm not surprised when Rob says his Thanks to fans, getting 15th Number 1 award. Because only fans and him do a good job in my opinion. --- Maybe Nigel wasn't a good guy but his fresh ideas in marketing is what both them need now. And for that they need new people in their staff, more modern and young people otherwise ordinary listeners will count them like arts from 90s. Robbie's team was VERY creative but they forgot how to do that 10+ years ago. I'm so angry today! I know that. I just really think because of this lazy work Take That and Robbie look like underrated ones nowadays.
  19. Yes, funny post :) ---- Paramount Pictures is expected to release their unusual music biopic BETTER MAN on VOD and digital platforms early next month, arriving on February 11th, 2025.
  20. I like that for French release they have prepared some new posters.
  21. Thanks Laura! Still think 25-30M is a maximum without US market and it's rather fine results (again, without US). If streaming and sales will be fine everybody will forget about all these 'commercial flop' headlines. But need to work on it: let's continue to inform people around us :)
