Friday Chart Predictions
So happy to see Mariah’s still steady in the UK even with those stock hiccups, and doing so well in America this week too... So deserved

Friday Chart Predictions
Just wanted to share my thoughts (and frustrations) about how this Mariah release is being handled in the UK. I’ve seen a lot of her fans on social media say the same. Any UK fans who wanted all the editions had no choice but to order from Mariah’s US store – it’s the only place that’s stocked all variants plus only one she was promoting on her socials. I bought all five myself, and I know I’m not alone… but none of those sales will count towards the UK charts. To make it worse I checked HMV Manchester on Friday and they literally had just 2 CDs and 1 vinyl in store. That’s it in a major city on release day for such a huge artist that is crazy It feels like the UK fanbase is being overlooked. Loads of us are still buying everything we can to support her – but because the sales are going through the US site, they won’t help her chart here.

UK Singles: Chart Runs and Sales
I think 'The Show' will reach Silver before 'Walk This Way' does

UK Albums: Chart Runs and Sales
When you take into consideration the additional streams that the songs will be gaining from the recently released Megamix them certifications will hopefully be coming even sooner

Girls Aloud - What Will the Neighbours Say?
It will be frustrating if it misses Top 40 but I can live with that as long as the sales are better than the debut all this extra effort for this release definitely warrants selling more copies

Girls Aloud - What Will the Neighbours Say?
I wondered if they had signed vinyls when they were all together last week that would easily secure few hundred more sales but get why wouldn't do it without Sarah

Girls Aloud - What Will the Neighbours Say?
I'm not going to lie I'm a bit disappointed with #10 I thought it would be higher than the new release by Bananarama which is at #6 and only just above Kylie who is at #11 with a vinyl release and no bonus tracks

Friday Chart Predictions
Was hoping Mariah 'Music Box 30' might be able to sneak into Top 100 but once again she priotised promoting it on her American website which does not help in regards her chart position here

Predict: What Will the Neighbours Say? rerelease in UK chart
I'm going to say between 25- 20, I'm confident that with more exposure and hype this will sell enough to sell a fair bit more than the debut did

I don't suppose you have similar information for Mae? I'm interested to see how much she sold yesterday to help her rise

Friday Chart Predictions
I'm really invested in Mae's final position this week because I feel like quite a lot rides on this album not completely flopping, not just for Mae but also in terms of potential UK artists considering doing Eurovision in the future. A flop album off the back of doing Eurovision is not exactly going to encourage future artists to want to do it, Sam's success will be considered as a one off so Mae achieving a Top 40 album and a Top 10 single despite placing low at Eurovision especially in todays music industry where it's so difficult to launch a new artist will be seen as a success and hopefully makes more artists consider doing it

Friday Chart Predictions
Mae's push the past couple of days has been incredible, she has rose to #3 on ITunes in past hour by offering to DM voice notes to everyone who can show they have brought a copy and is signing vinyls and CDs on her insta live sat in Banquet record store with the link attached so people can buy a copy and request any message and she is doing them as the orders were coming in having a laugh and joke about messages being requested she is doing the same again tmrw
