£15 for a 7" vinyl single 🤣

These sales do look a bit low. I was expecting Light Years, Aphrodite and Kiss Me Once to sell about 2,000 copies each, and X 4,000. I think it's because most collectors will already own the previous vinyl releases of Light Years, Aphrodite and Kiss Me Once, and as these are almost identical, many haven't bought them.

Tension (the single) sold 4,690 CDs in the week it made the Top 20. That was with two versions, so assuming that was mostly fans buying both, she had around 2,345 people supporting the release physically. Love Sensation has three versions, so if the same Kylie fans bought all of them, that would be 7,035 sales. That's before all the Madonna fans.

The CDs dispatched this week, will be counted in the chart this week.

Well played Warner! Great tactic. A surprise early release for the CDs. The sudden switch from plastic cases to card sleeves makes sense now... They needed something very quick to produce.

I never understood why the original KMO was a double vinyl. It's only 11 tracks!

Light Years, X and Kiss Me One are all gatefold. Only Aphrodite is not, that's how the original was released, and this is a recreation of that. I never use Amazon for vinyl now as they don't package it properly. HMV is superior.

I assume they'll also add Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix) to the CONFESSIONS II (Afterhours Edition), which will help its streaming figures.

Quite disappointed on my first listen. Too much spoken word for me. Gets a bit tired. Lyrics are a bit cringe in places. Struggling to identify anything that would work as a hit single. I've been looking forward to this for so long I'm not giving up yet and hope it grows on me.

Sorry, I wasn't suggesting These Alarms should be any higher. I mean ANY of Kylie's big releases. Lead singles like Dancing, Say Something, Padam Padam, Lights Camera Action etc.

How is it that Madonna gets 1 on the UK NMF Spotify playlist when Kylie is lucky to get a top 10 slot for her releases? Is it just that Warner Records has paid for it to get that slot?

I'm really enjoying the album. Highlights for me are Sweat, Pressure, Attitude, Undefeated Champion and Flick Of The Wrist. I've got the 'alt' Spice Boys edition CD, marked MELANIECCD3 on the spine and disc. The booklet has MELANIECCD1, but as it has names of the Spice Boys listed I think that it's the correct booklet. I like that the disc is yellow to match the cover and not the standard orange as the store has it shown as.

Tension Tour//Live 2025 bundle has been processed and will be shipped very soon. I can't wait to see the mediabook CD and gatefold vinyl. 😊
