  1. I'm actually a little bit worried about the sales of Tension II. 900+ of the CD and 200+ of the vinyl on Amazon seems rather low?
  2. The live performance video on 1.3m views is impressive. The BRITS medley is on 1.7m for comparison.
  3. Quite an odd release strategy. It's expensive and restricted to one niche store, that most people have never heard of. Such a wasted opportunity.
  4. 21 on the UK Album Chart this week. If the 2CD version was still available I think they might have been in the Top 10.
  5. '25 Years of Steps: 1997-2022' will be on MTV 90s (Sky TV 352, Virgin TV 313): Fri 02/09 9am-11am Sat 03/09 8pm-10pm Mon 05/09 4pm-6pm Tue 06/09 9pm-11pm Wed 07/09 11am-1pm
  6. No More Tears On The Dancefloor is epic, I still can't understand why it wasn't a single!
  7. Amazon has let me down with the preorder, which is far from being release day delivery... it's not arriving until Wednesday next week! On the plus side, I've just downloaded the free AutoRip so I can now listen to it anyway, and it includes the 2 tracks that are missing from the Deluxe CD, presumably because they wouldn't fit?
  8. How close are #11 and #12? Any chance they could overtake her or is #10 safe?
  9. Thankfully that's not impacted my area yet. Only a couple of weeks ago I picked up the latest NOW CD and and the new Best of Bond CD from my local Sainsburys, and they had all the current releases. If I pop in over the weekend I'll see if the Guest List Edition is in stock or not.
  10. All of mine do. Tesco, Sainsburys and ASDA sell a range of at least 40-60 CDs. They all stocked the original DISCO album. They all had The Moonlight Edition of Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia for example.
  11. I think it will hurt BMG in the long run, as Kylie fans will see they've received a lazy product and paid a premium price, so they might not bother next time. Compare the Starstruck CD single that Polydor released to the ASTM CD single that BMG has put out... Starstruck £2.99 + £1.95 delivery = £4.94 4 tracks (Original, Kylie Minogue Remix, Paul Woolford Remix, Acoustic) Slimline Jewel Case A Second to Midnight £5 + £2.50 delivery = £7.50 1 track (Original) Card Sleeve Handled as other labels do, a CD single can make money and benefit the label, artist and fans in other ways too.
  12. The 2-track CD of DISCO: Guest List Edition isn't in any of the UK supermarkets?! That's a major hole in the release strategy.
  13. The drop from the midweeks to the final chart position of Kylie's last 3 singles following the physical format being released: Say Something: #23 to #56 (dropped 33 places) Magic #24 to #53 (dropped 29 places) Real Groove #53 to #97 (dropped 44 places) A Second to Midnight holding on to Top 100 is probable but it will be close!
  14. A shame about the supply issues. A new Top 20 position for the 20th anniversary would have been nice.
