  1. Theo sounds just like Example in this
  2. Taking the ethical side out if it I've got to admit this is an impressive chart campaign, so many just fall flat on their faces but this one is actually doing really well. That wasn't an endorsement just pointing out it's done well in comparison to how much of these campaigns do.
  3. Obviously it depends on how long their chart run is but how long do you think artists ought to wait from the 'impact date' or time when there single peaks before moving onto the next one. Might be easier to think of it as people have such different chart-runs what is the ideal length of time for the old single to leave the top 40 before the next single is released. Just quite interested to hear what everyone thinks...

What was the fiasco last week? Hoping for Hurts, Haim, James Blake & Kodaline! Hope they stick to their guns and snub Kesha as well.
  6. Credit to Disclosure, Fall Out Boy & James Arthur: Really wouldn't expect them to be as high as they are. All OAOS successess. James Arthur in particular has done tremendously he's 2 in Australia this week.

You know the BBC don't decide they ask "tastemakers" (about 300) who are various journalists and musos to say who they think will be big in 2013. I don't think they necessarily have to pick who will get the most number ones but who will release the best albums and can breakthrough into the public consciousness. Which is why there is never much pop there and in theory all the winners won't be in the same vein. It's odd a band had never won before but I think Haim are brilliant so I'm happy. I'm surprised Tom Odell missed the top 5 altogether.

I'm thinking Dot Rotten and Michael Kinawuka (3rd Critics Choice) will be the top 2 with Rotten edging it I also think Frank Ocean is sixth. But you can miss the top 5 and be big (Wretch 32, Nero) I remember being shocked Nero missed the top 5 last year

Problem this year is all the real stars of next year have hit top 20 already Lana Emeli Deliah Labrinth However I am pleased to see Friends, Dry The River  , Frank Ocean and Michael Kinawuka It's a shame not see Unicorn Kid or Fixers though. A few I've not heard of aswell so I can google them. Looking at last years Ironically we're still waiting for an album from Daley and a second single from Jai Paul! (But his first was fantastic)

I'm hoping for Labrinth, it's just brilliant
  21. oli17 posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Pro Green is Labrinth's main opposition, Simon is smarter than that I think. Just heard the remix of Rebecca Fergusons' single and I think she will blow up. Pre-Order Update: 16th October-Lana at 7, The Wanted at 72 23rd October-Labrinth at 30, Professor Green at 46 30th October-Cher Lloyd at 94, Danza Kuduro at 157
  22. Greg loves it, he admitted that he bought it!

Pre-orders Pixie is at 45, Leona 50. This time a fortnight ago I think Wretch and Emeli were both Top 20... Just spotted Loca People at 69 on Preorders and it's not released until 25th September (week after Dappy) Big Woo for Maroon 5
