  1. I can't be sure but I'm guessing it's because Britain and Sweden are in Europe x
  2. At the bottom of the OP I have listed people who I've received answers from, as this may help you with the bonus questions. Feel free to message me to change any of your answers (either to the main quiz or bonus questions) anytime before the deadline.
  3. I seem to remember that David Guetta & Emeli Sande song getting quite a nice boost from Eastenders a few years ago too though I can't remember how much of an impact it had in terms of actual chart position!
  4. Anyone got any guesses for who anyone is at the moment? Or are we discouraged from discussing that this time?
  5. Is it called the "send your shittest songs" round?
  6. Well I can pretty much guarantee you'll be bopping along to '1 Day 2 Nights' when that gets sent
  7. And if you did I'd be the first to say I told you so!
  8. To be fair to Bre, I get the impression that people actually don't rate 'Hello' quite as highly as at least 4 or 5 of her other big hits (even though it's definitely up there as one of my personal faves)
  9. Are you behind HRVY? Don't... lie to me
  10. I'll be intrigued to see if there are any restrictions at all to what Calvin is allowed to send
  11. I know Texas aren't thought of too highly but honestly they've got some absolute bangers and this is one of them! They also have a certain other song which would get maximum points from me no matter what it went up against
  12. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for HRVY's brand of pop, so expect me to score him consistently high! Still can't believe he's never had a top 40 lol.
  13. No idea what Adele's and Dido's mentors are playing at deploying two of their biggest songs so early on! 'Bubblegum Bitch' is a total bop though looking forward to new new discoveries!
  14. That sounds like you volunteering to host it tbh
  15. Yeah you do make a good point about Robyn v Zara but I'm still not totally convinced. I think it will very much come down to the song choices, but we shall see. Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out anyway!
  16. I think you're vastly overestimating The Beatles' chances in a competition like this given Buzzjack's demographic! As for Robyn, I think 10 bulletproof songs is a bit of a stretch but there are definitely 2 or 3 which would trump anything else. But as you say, these might be forced into being played early. Personally I think it's Zara's to lose but we'll see!
  17. Wasn't there also a covers round or am I imagining that? If there wasn't that might also be a good idea for a category! Either way I can't see past a female winning this, that category is just WAY too strong. And I know who I'd put my money on...
  18. That Pop Factor 2 impact!
  19. Apparently it's the venues who basically gave Ed an ultimatum - either he drops Macklemore or he doesn't play there! Macklemore explains it here much better than I can.
  20. Mαngo posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
I'm very on board with this now, top 10 smash incoming hopefully!
  21. Looks like a bit of can of worms has been opened with Calvin!
  22. I wouldn't even call Coldplay a guitar band these days, they're so watered down from what they used to be!
  23. "Registrations should, as always, remain inspired, covering all three categories evenly, and of course, be pop." Judging by the above rule, I didn't think Oasis would be considered "pop" enough? Which is why I was surprised to see Fontaines D.C.! I'd love to know how many people submitted Zara and didn't get her!
  24. So many twinks acts I've never heard of, I wasn't expecting there to be quite so many
