If no one steps forward for week 10, I'm happy to put something together.

Not sure I can catch the top 3 now but I'll at least try and hold off the J's!

I've whittled it down to two songs and I'm massively struggling to choose between them. Or am I?

So you were researching Bananarama songs... for a friend, right?

Are we thinking it's a double elimination this round? So 9 acts + however many Gamu acts go through to lives?

The old man had a song called 'Intruder' a few years ago which was pretty decent so it's a shame that didn't get a chance to be sent.

But presumably you'll be sending No Ordinary Love in the Gamu round? That is an actual tune.

I don't understand why it was cancelled/delayed, it's not like they had to manufacture physicals!

Is this still from his Bliss EP or has that been binned lol

1 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor · The very definition of a perfect pop song. Still can't believe it's been played this early! 2 Adele - Skyfall · This is up there with my favourite Bond themes, or it might actually be my favourite! 3 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat · Another pop classic. I once went to the filming of a TV show where I saw her perform this live from about 3 feet away, listening to the song always reminds me of that! 4 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights · I've never been a huge fan of Bush (well not that sort anyway) but this is an undeniable classic. 5 MARINA - Oh No! · Sadly not one of my favourites of hers. Oh no indeed! 6 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You · Never really got into this when it came out, and even now it's not sounding much better - she has much better than this! All the low rankings make me feel like she's going out this week which is a shame. Sadly I think her mentor just played it very wrong this week.

You can kinda tell her voice is going though

1 Bananarama - I Want You Back · As I already mentioned previously, Wow is one of my favourite albums of the 80s and this is an 11/10 pop classic! 2 Texas - Summer Son · Another week, another Texas banger! They really are an incredible singles band. 3 New Order - Regret · I haven't been that enamoured by the New Order entries that were being sent previously but this one is more like it! 4 Fontaines D.C. - Favourite · Living up to its name, this is indeed one of my favourites by them! 5 Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again · They've got so many brilliant songs in their discography that I love but I'm still waiting for one of them to be sent. 6 Sade - Kiss of Life · There are a few Sade songs that I like but this one did nothing for me I'm afraid.

Couldn't agree more

1 Darin - En apa som liknar dig · Yet again another banger from my favourite discovery of the competition! He just keeps delivering! 2 Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La · Always loved this, such an earworm! 3 Tom Grennan - Little Bit of Love · Good single from Tom, though doesn't hit quite as hard as some of his other hits. 4 Calvin Harris & Disciples - How Deep Is Your Love · I'd put this in the top half of Calvin's discography even if I don't really go back to it that often. 5 Sam Fender - Will We Talk? · I do like this, I just like the four above it more. 6 Gary Numan & Tubeway Army - Down in the Park · Not really getting much from this, sorry.

They needn't have bothered judging by the votes so far

Tbf Rein Me In's not a terrible song, it's just that everyone's sick of it.

Haven't heard Chromeo's name for a long time (apart from when I entered them in Bop Idol earlier this year!)

#sorrynotsorry that you did so badly in this

I won't lie, 12th is disappointing after topping the leaderboard early on! I guess I'm just not very in tune with other Buzzjackers lol. Thanks for a very different quiz @nine¾!

Think I'm pretty much out of the running now!

Ouch that was a bad round for me!

Ooh jimwatts now sailing past both me and Riser! Is this the 75% stage now, @nine¾?

I didn't think that way at all - I just went for albums that I think are popular on Buzzjack. Interesting how we all had very different thought processes for this.
