Some decent picks here though possibly not quite as stacked as the other two categories. I don't know the old man song or the twink song so I'm looking forward to checking out both of those - Darin hasn't disappointed me yet so I really hope he's not about to start now!

Oh wow Texas and the Bananas sending top tier songs again! 'Favourite' is appropriately one of my favourites by the Fontaines. I don't remember the Sade or DM songs very well so will have to reacquaint myself with them. The New Order one is pretty good but I was expecting one of their big ones this round as they've still got a few in their pocket!

I alluded to it previously, but I did try to enter Guetta for this season (he was my third choice). But after seeing the backlash early on in the thread, I'm glad I didn't get him, and I do kinda agree that it feels a bit cheaty to use him. At least Calvin has songs which he sings on, which can't be said for Guetta. Still a bit of a grey area of course though.

I was otherwise occupied this evening and only dipping in and out, but I've just caught up on the whole thread now. It was just as brutal as I was expecting! Really sorry to whoever lost an act tonight (which may or may not have included me, that's if I hadn't already been eliminated, which I may or may not have done). Years & Years - they definitely had more to give in the contest so it's a shame to lose them. HRVY - ngl I am a little bit gutted he's out before bangers like 'Million Ways' and 'Me Because Of You' got their moment to shine (hopefully one of those will be sent to Gamu anyway) Damien Rice - I can't say I cared for him too much outside of 'Cannonball' and he was gonna get eliminated sooner rather than later anyway iamamiwhoami - apologies to their mentor but they really were not my cup of tea so I don't really have strong feelings about them going Agnes - the female category was always gonna be the most brutal for elims but 'Here Comes The Night' is probably my favourite Agnes song so it's a shame she went out on that but also good she went out on a high Leona Lewis - again she had so much more to give but personally I feel 'Footprints' was a bit of a weak pick from her and she'd have probably survived a different song but c'est la vie! Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings - bring on the agonising over my next song choice (if I am still in the competition...)
