Posted Friday at 18:301 day SOLO FEMALEAfter a tense, divisive round in the competition at The Six Chair Challenge in Szczecin, it's time for the solo female artists to move on to the next stage of the competition, and they find themselves in Jungfrau, a major peak in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland. Here, they will perform for you, the voting BuzzJack public, in a bid to secure their spot in the second part of Judges' Houses. Not only that, there's a theme: all of the artists will be performing a beloved streaming hit, one that is among their top 10 most streamed songs of all time on Spotify! How it works:Once you have listened to all of the artists perform you should post a ranking of each of the performances. You can rank them from best to worst (making clear which is your favourite down to least favourite), or use the template below:01 (favourite)0203040506 (least favourite)For those voting who have entered one of the artists into the competition, you should rank all six performances in all categories. As always, even if you are not competing in The Pop Factor you can vote too! When voting closes, the five female solo artists with the highest scores will proceed to the next round while ONE artist will be eliminated from the competition and will not be going through. However, the competition doesn't end there. Any artists eliminated from the competition - until stated - will be eligible to compete for the chance to return and claim The Gamu Nhengu Gold Card.Voting will close on Tuesday 20 October 2026, 17:59 BSTSo let's get the show on the road! Friday at 18:381 day Woah some top tier songs here 😮Lol at that MARINA video being retitled to 'Oh No! (I Feel Like I'm The Worst So I Always Act like I'm The Best)' in the streaming era mess
Friday at 18:411 day Well I could vote right away as I know all of these pretty well! HUGE picks from Kate, Robyn and Sophie, understandable with the level of competition but still, I wasn't expecting them this early.
Friday at 18:431 day Oh wow. The solo females really do not want to go.I think Sophie and Robyn have secured their spots in the next round with songs that could have won the final for them. But I do get playing them now, you have to stay in it to win it.
Friday at 19:121 day Marina, Adele and Zara choices look very weak compared to the other four tbh!!!Is this the Adele’s (sky)fall?!I’m just here to stir the pot
Friday at 20:111 day Wow - that selection is hardcore. 5 great choices and one from Marina I don't know - I really have to check out her back catalogue.
Friday at 20:441 day 2 of these songs are songs I dont get the hype around at all. Lol.There’s also one that I find quite screechy. But we’ll see what a relisten does!
Friday at 20:461 day Yeah Zara, Marina and Adele seem like the half in danger at first glance. That run of Murder, WH and With Every Heartbeat is killer!!
Friday at 21:281 day Wait, Sophie has sent Murder on the ACTUAL Dancefloor, WTF?!? There's never been a more obvious final song! Robyn, Kate and Adele have all sent classics too, this is gonna be a real toughie Edited Friday at 21:291 day by Mangø
Friday at 22:521 day I'm still shook by this list, genuinely cannot get over that Sophie, Robyn and Kate selection, to a lesser extent Adele too as it's another big hit but not on the same level. I am unfamiliar with the Zara and Marina ones but I do know the Zara one is a big hit. This round looks like a bloodbath either way!
16 hours ago16 hr 1 Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights: I know several of Gary’s songs are from 1979 but think this is now the oldest of the whole competition by 1 year, and it’s hard to overestimate how much it turned the pop world upside down2 Robyn & Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat: there isn’t a lot that beats this; still sounds fresh and one of the most emotive pieces of dance pop ever 3 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor: one of the most joyous pop songs of the decade; can’t believe I’m putting it as low as 3rd4 Adele - Skyfall - again this would top many lists for me; it’s fabulously Bond and authentically Adele at the same time 5 MARINA - Oh No!: this is probably what her mentor is thinking now with the others going all out, but it’s a nice song with heartfelt delivery6 Zara Larsson & MNEK - Never Forget You: another that goes on the soulless pile for me sorry!
