MangoOoOoOo

Could say the same for Bananarama

I think that's a great song choice for Tom tbh, 'Boys Don't Cry' is a bit of a banger! I'm hoping for a certain duet of his in a future round though.

Oh there absolutely will be x

Seems a bit pretentious but I will listen to the song without prejudgment!

What do you mean by that? Are people deliberately synchronising votes?

Sam sending 'I'm Not The Only One' when Calvin has also sent a Sam song is funny eeek I'm not too crazy about that HRVY song, there's a better recent one I would've gone with. Also that is the one Damien Rice song which I adore and I'm not surprised it's been played early but assuming he does get through I think he'll struggle from hereon in.

That's definitely my favourite MARINA pick so far and the Zara choice is inspired too. I'm actually not sure Cloudbusting will be the song to take Kate through but we'll see.

Oh wow Bananarama and Texas going BIG!!! No idea how I'm gonna pick between those two. That's one of my favourite Y&Y songs even though I have a feeling it's not that well regarded. Fontaines going with the current single is clever, particularly cos it's had a good reaction on the site. Looking forward to the new discoveries. Did the text at the end of the iamamiwhoami song title get cut off?

Thanks for a great contest @King Rollo and congrats @Scene on the win, I'm not bitter at all it's not my worst result in this contest but 24 is my lucky number so I'll take it!

I have confirmed my song choice for the next round but I have no idea if I've made the right choice, eeek

I was toying with the idea of sending Just A Fool. Not sure how it would have done in comparison tbh!

The points that should have been mine!!!

Addy was Ace of Base? Never 😱

Thanks to @gooddelta and @King Rollo for the 12 points for Sophie B. Hawkins so far. I'll be happy to just finish mid table considering my first two choices of artist had already been taken! In fact my first choice was actually Christina wish I'd got in there sooner!!

A five foot one aging twink, to use the description recently quoted

That's insane to me

Hating on one of the greatest pop songs of all time? I'm disappointed in you There couldn't have been a more deserving winner tbh

Tactical voting at its cleverest! Wow @ Darin finishing second, definitely looking like the dark horse of the competition if future songs are chosen right. Looking forward to a banger from him next round!

Was fully expecting M83 and Dido to go but Lewis is a shock, I didn't even realise he was in danger! Surely it must have been close between him and Damien.

Nooooo not another theme

Kodaline not even top 40 in the albums then!

I still think that accolade could be better worded but The Slightest Touch is such a banger! Love all three of Five Star’s, Steps' and Louise's versions. I guess it's hard to do a bad version of a good song!

So these have been doing the rounds on social media this past week. Not sure how many of you have seen them but I thought I'd post them here for anyone interested. I imagine they will be pretty easy for people on a music forum lol but there seemed to be that one song on each image which took me ages to work out. (In the case of Oasis, it was the birthday cake clue, that one took me forever!) (There's also one of the Coldplay ones which doesn't quite make sense to me but whatever!) There are lots from other artists too if you search Instagram for guitar.day
