I was doing some spotify playlists and I was suprised to see I'd heard and liked a Tems track before, Essence by Wizkid

People will still be listening to the old stuff though and you risk the 'New' chart being even more stagnant with the same popular new releases not moving. It won't automatically make more new music come out or other new music be more popular than it is now

The insistence on playing Sienna Spiro needs to be studied.
