what’s the different between the wrestlers and Geraldine for instance then? It’s either a non-human list or a fictional list

The list was intended to find characters who are portrayed by other people for other pieces of media (e.g. Geraldine is a made-up character portrayed by Peter Kay while wrestlers are mostly their real selves but just play up to the camera.)

But now that I think about it you're probably right on the wrestlers, I guess they're portraying OTT versions of themselves. I'll add them to the list 👍

Does ding dong the witch is dead? Count as from cartoon got 2 when Margaret passed away

This one was credited to "Wizard Of Oz Film Cast" rather than any specific characters so this one doesn't count. If it was credited to The Munchkins or something like that it would count 👍

    #4 1992 WWF Superstars - Slam Jam

    #3 1994 Mighty Morph’’N Power Rangers - Power Rangers

While the wrestlers did have stage names and played to the camera they were still real people, don't think they would count (side note the late Hulkster isn't on this surprisingly! ) but the Power Rangers are definitely going on the list, thanks!

Again this is just a stage name

Would class Disco duck as one

That one is credited to "Rick Dees & His Cast Of Idiots"- apparently Rick was a US radio personality so despite the Donald Duck voice it's not a fictional artist credit unfortunately!

Which reminds me of The Kunts who sampled it. Don't know if they are a fictional band?!

Pretty sure they're real (or at least a stage name)

No idea why this was my first thought but

Wealdstone Raider - Got No Fans

Love the Wealdstone Raider but he is very much real!

Doctorin ' The Tardis by The Timelords (allegedly the car is the performer)

Classic KLF! I'm reading that the car told Bill and Jimmy how to perform the song and the car simply fronted the Timelords. Also the car is portraying itself so not really fictional? Not sure how I'd class this one actually

Im guessing songs from films which have original artist credits dont count like encanto etc

Yeah they wouldn't count, same with blanket "cast of..." credits- if they credited the characters I would've put them on this list 👍

God knows why this came into my head but 'I Got You Babe/Soda Pop' by Avid Merrion, Davina McCall & Patsy Kensit, which is just credited to their second names.

Proper Bo, I tell thee! Will have to add "Proper Crimbo" to the list too

Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band

Would you include Keith Harris & Orville?

Loved the Peter Kay one as a kid, somehow didn't clock it when going through number ones!

Yes Orville would count 😁 (his song reached number 4)

I don't understand why only 3 tracks from the K Pop Hunters album are allowed into the Official Singles Chart. Normally, this restriction only applies when the songs are from the same artist, like Alex Warren and Justin Bieber for example. The K Pop songs are from different artists, which is why the album has been relegated to the Compilation Chart. Therefore, I don't think any of those songs should be starred out of the singles chart.

The songs are all credited to "KPop Demon Hunters Cast" so the regular rules apply. They've done the same for Greatest Showman, Encanto and Hazbin Hotel in recent memory
