"All Girls Are The Same" and "Or Nah" being certified 2x platinum means 61 songs have been certified multi platinum without reaching the top 40.

Good grief. Praying it doesn't go top 10, I have good money riding on Drake not having a top 10 single this year!

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 7 Single - 1st Semi-Final
Assumed this one would be a shoe-in for the final so that's why I gave it a low score. Shame it's just missed!

Think the rules have changed since then. When the Drake/21 Savage album dropped the one 21 solo song didn't chart so I think we will only get 3 songs from this new one

Just looked at the lyrics to "GIMME A HUG" (ick at the title) and despite saying "f**k a rap beef" it looks like another sneak diss at Kendrick. Also disses Joe Budden

Number one hits that name-drop other chart-topping acts
Thanks but these have all been mentioned prior. Em is most likely the artist who has named the most other artists in his number one hits, 16 total

Number one hits that name-drop other chart-topping acts
Good shout but that would probably mean we'd have to include every instance of the word Blue, Five, Do etc. because they're not talking about the actual Madonna who topped the charts

Number one hits that name-drop other chart-topping acts
Classic! Indeed the aim was to find songs that mentioned number one artists other than the ones credited on the single.

Number one hits that name-drop other chart-topping acts
Thanks for the contributions so far everyone! Found a couple more In My Feelings- Jennifer Lopez Freaky Friday- Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled (should this one count? Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 7 Single - 1st Semi-Final
Prefab Sprout are local legends where I live, takes me about 10 minutes to drive to where these guys formed! My A Level media teacher is good mates with Paddy from what I recall. Would've given this more points but it gets played on one of those hot dog themed coin pusher games at a local arcade I go to often, and it does get rather annoying...

Number one hits that name-drop other chart-topping acts
Thanks, got a fair few from Em! In TRSS he also name drops Will Smith and Fred Durst (of Limp Bizkit) and mentioned Bizkit again in Without Me Elvis and Prince also mentioned in Without Me Stan mentions Phil Collins Just Lose It has Michael Jackson Like Toy Soldiers has Jay Z and Ja Rule and Smack That has Pussycat Dolls

Number one hits that name-drop other chart-topping acts
"Say Drake, I hear you like 'em young..." Not Like Us' potential number 1 got me thinking, how many other number ones name-drop or acknowledge other artists who had a number one? Either directly or through another name. Here's some that come to mind from the 2020s: Godzilla- P Diddy, Cher Toosie Slide- Michael Jackson Drivers License- Sabrina Carpenter (AKA that blonde girl) Body remix- Ashley Walters (of So Solid Crew) Sprinter- P Diddy and Michael Jackson Houdini- Megan Thee Stallion, R Kelly and Black Eyed Peas Messy- Britney Spears (potentially) Not Like Us- Drake, 2Pac, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Quavo, 2 Chainz

Will be a total shame if it's number 2. Overtaking Gaga and Chappell would be in vain. It's number one or bust!
