  2. Again not too surprised about the Bruno song not doing well, it's really a Sexyy Red song who doesn't have the pull she does in the States
  3. Knew it wouldn't happen again for Dave and Cench, the song just isn't good enough.

Yeah I've just made an attempt to compile them all but it looks like it's a very long list and there's no way in hell I'm sifting through every platinum certification to find them all  Found all the multi-plat ones anyway, there's 55. Summer of 69 is the only one to go 5x platinum

Nice to see Crazy Train go platinum, criminal that it's never been top 40. Now that I think about it does anyone have a list of platinum singles that never went top 40?
  7. I seriously doubt anyone will care about this beef

+5 GBP +4 Sailor Song +3 Messy +2 Die With A Smile +1 The Door -1 APT -2 The Days -3 Who -4 Nice To Meet You -5 That's So True
  9. It's his debut studio album, everything else he's released is classed as a mixtape.
  10. Lola now ahead of Gracie on Spotify!
  11. I really thought about voting 2024, some of the best music of the decade and big cultural moments but the old stuff just hung around for so long that it got a bit tiring.
  12. 2021 was the year I got interested in the charts, there was relatively fast movement (for the charts with streaming) aside from Ed/Kid Laroi domination over the summer. A lot of big songs and artists dominating that year but not as dominant as the big hits from 2024 are currently. That's why it gets my vote
  13. Great to see so much new music this week. Heard all the ones that are likely to be hits (Tate, Bruno, Teddy, Cench + Dave, Djo, Sam) and liked them all except Bruno's. Still can't see the Cench one hitting number one, just sounds like a filler album track
  14. I have to say they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for some of these categories, pretty much everyone I know (including music fans) has been making fun of these nominations as they have no clue who anyone is. 2025 please give us some proper successful artists to nominate!
  15. Lola going for a last second push?
  16. It's been confirmed that it's not an average of the week, it's all about "trends through the week". Guessing Messy will benefit if it's been consistently been increasing
  17. Would harm new releases on Friday as they would have one less day of sales. I don't get why they don't wait until the weekend to publish the charts, especially since Radio 1 likely want a Sunday charts show again to compete with Big Top 40.
  18. What makes everyone think Cench and Dave will do that well anyway? Yes Sprinter was massive but surely the novelty of them collabing will have gone by now. It'll probably do "Doja" numbers at most

It means it's consistently popular and has held up well. It's very interesting to see what's still doing well and what's been left in the past. Certifications from streaming are very interesting, just goes to show that you don't need a high chart peak to be held in high regard.
  20. Ooh hope this takes off properly, one of the best tracks on One Of Wun
  21. 155 in 2000 and 49 in 2001. Stuck around for absolutely ages at the turn of the year and peaked unusually late for a song released at the time
  22. Completely didn't clock Run To The Hills peaked at 7! Thought it peaked higher in the future but then realised I confused it with Number Of The Beast
  23. "I Remember Everything" out before "Dancing In The Moonlight" :o Doechii did a lot better in week 1 than I expected...
  24. Oh boo "Stephanie" already dropping out :(
  25. "Sigma Boy" to smash please  it's only 47 on the video streaming chart though...
