You can talk about artists all being restricted by the same rules but can your average indie band pull 30k signed CDs out of nowhere and conveniently ship them 2 weeks before their intended release date? The reason people say it's manipulation is because Taylor's label have all the power and can have whatever outcome they want, it may be completely fair in chart terms but it's extremely dirty tactics to deny rising artists who have 1 specific week to achieve their peak when in theory you could peak any week you like.

I think only Homewrecker and Nice To Each Other stand a chance of crossing a million so 12 max EDIT possibly 13 if Choosin Texas holds up

I personally don't mind it at all (I said the same things about Ordinary/Lose Control/Beautiful Things before they peaked) but I can 100% understand that people see it as an example of more "white male mediocrity" being rewarded over more unconventional stuff. When it inevitably lingers around far too long that's when I'll start disliking it

Despite its domination I haven't actually heard Rein Me In much at all, it's hardly been played on radio this year unlike Ordinary and the other MOR-esque hits of the past 12-18 months.

Hope this can at least stay top 20 for Noah and remain the highest new entry over Dr*ke. It's solid but I prefer much of The Great Divide
