I had posted about the return of Milli Vanilli on the Friday chart predictions thread. But so glad to see it and Crowded House too.

Is there any chance we could see Milli Vanilli back in the top 100? I see they have appeared on streaming.

Yet another deadly dull singles chart, it is becoming even more boring than the 1950s and ACR does not even work anymore to move the deadwood. I was hoping the new single from The Cure would go top 100, it is excellent but alas too much to hope for.

Yet again not much movement, no new entries in top 20. No chance of Chappell Roan replacing Sabrina Carpenter and the dreaded Christmas songs return in just over a month.

Wouldn't it be good to see Champagne Supernova chart for the first time?

Would love to see Shawn Mendes chart with "Why Why Why" but his commercial days seem to be over.

Are they really playing a track that has been in the top 40 for 7 months! Very poor choice when newer songs were ignored.

Wonderful to have Celine back. This is why we need ACR otherwise that would not have got in at 40. And at last a few new entries.

It would also be good to see Dominic Fike sneak into top 4 with "Misses".

The average time spent in the charts in last Week's Irish top 30 singles was 19 weeks! So that is another example of the fact the singles chart which should be vibrant is far too slow. That will not help with interest or promotion. In the past, records were removed from the lower echelons of the chart to help others gain a foothold so that should happen again. I would increase ACR even further so that older songs began to disappear from the top 100. What benefit it is to anyone wanting to engage with music to have Mr Brightside there forever? And as another poster said, certain songs could go to a Golden oldies chart and if they show a dramatic increase in popularity then they can transfer to the main chart again. And as for Christmas, that is beyond a joke every year.

How good is that Sevdaliza track with Pabllo Vitta called "Alibi"? I am really hoping that can go top 40 at some stage.

That is a depressing chart, very little that is fresh.

Any chance of a clear out next week so a few songs can break through from Dominic Fike, Majestic/ Celine Dion and Adam Port amongst hopefully others?

I thought there would have been more top 20 new entries, Charli with Lorde, Gracie with Taylor and possibly Post with Blake! It will also be good to see Jordan Adetunji chart top 40.

It would be amazing to see Orville Peck, the masked South African-Canadian gay country star have a UK chart hit. Anyone know how "Midnight ride" with Kylie and Diplo is at No90? I don't see much streaming for it. Could this be a surprise sleeper hit?

Disappointed the Eurovision songs are not higher but I take it they can rise further. Hoping Olly gets a top 40 hit. Very clear that the entry that got the Uk televote 12 points is not even charting so proof it had nothing to do with music. Eden never to be heard of again!

I do not understand why So Long London is not one of the 3 Taylor songs, it definitely deserves it. As for Benson Boone and Teddy Swims, ACR should really be kicking in by now.

I wonder how close the singles race is this week. I am hoping Benson Boone this week and Djo next week.

Odd that Benson Boone has 7 day spotify streams of 3,624,409 compared to Beyonce with 3,287,429 and yet he is still in considerable deficit overall.

C'mon Benson, please replace Beyonce at No1.

What a wonderful top 20, apart from Carnival and the fact Cruel summer is there far far too long. The list is a real improvement on a few years ago. I am loving some of those new entries including Olly Alexander and Charli XCX. But hoping 21 Pilots can hold on, so deserves it but I have a feeling it won't.

I would have liked Benson Boone to have got a week at No1 before Beyonce took over. But he has no chance now.
