Gone Too Long

Hi :) Anyone any idea of the sales of the MaccyD album so far? Thank you :)

Well I am not surprised considering many have been having almost as much luck purchasing it as they did the single. I had to order mine online and it arrived after the release date. Many have had to purchase theirs online after the release date also. Plus some have been buying a few copies to send to people in their families and been buying in one transaction rather than singley to make more impact on the charts. You won't upset me. I am a big Steve Brookstein fan, think he has a great voice and good songs and is a great songwriter. Each to their own though, as I know many who won't buy into a reality show winner and just for that fact alone will not appreciate him or his music. I and many do appreciate Steve's music though and realise without great backing and a known label behind him, it will take some time to get some credibility back. All Steve wants as with most music artists is to get his music back out there and heard and appreciated, if it takes a little time then it takes a little time :) There, I have said my little piece there :) Just hope the album sales begin to pick up now, maybe slowly and surely, but as long as they pick up :)

Well it is his own label, so I suppose, yes :) I don't know if there was backing from anywhere else for it also.

Was that welcome for me. Aww thank you very much :) I was looking for midweeks from sites, so I could roughly have an idea to post on my sites and I was recommended this site :) Steve's album only went on sale Monday, so hopefully by Sunday it will pick up :) I hopw so anyway. I know I am bias :D But it's a good album and my username is taken from one of the album's songs, a beautiful song :) There is a clip of it on Steve's MySpace. Even if you are no fan, go along and have a listen ;)

Hi Mikey, Lizzyitus is not a Steve Brookstein fan. I am however and know the admin on Steve's Official site quite well. So if I know how his album has done I will let you know asap. The single wasn't expected to do well and was only mostly to promote the album, and has had hardly any promo and been very hard to get hold of, hopefully fingers crossed the album will do better or just be a slow burner. However Lizzyitus I know you are a huge Rowetta fan and that she has a second album imminent, so maybe you can keep us informed on that instead and how well that does or doesn't do :) Btw, always wanted to know if anyone knows at all, did Rowetta ever release the promised single for her first album? Or did it just not chart?
