Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 8 Single - The Final - Results
Hi Twin! I completely agree with you about Green Day and Linkin Park. Though maybe we can’t be twins anymore, as you don’t know what four songs are left 🤣.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 8 Single - The Final - Results
Two great songs, though Green Day were by far the lowest of my remaining tracks. I thought Linkin Park were going to win, but I can’t complain as they are only one place lower than I placed them. I think it will now be Robyn v Enola Gay for the win - though Smooth Criminal is my highest remaining track - and the only one I initially placed above In The End. Smooth Criminal and Dancing On My Own are the only songs left from my original nominations, though both Back To Black and Enola Gay just missed out on an initial nomination, and all four are in my top 15 tracks in the final.

Friday Chart Predictions
If Spotify is anything to go by, Where Is My Husband will not get a reset. Friday was its best day when it was 24% above last week. Another couple of days it has been 20% above last week, but its weakest performance was just 10% above last week. It will only get reset if its increase has been much better on other platforms.

Estimated ACR status updates 2026
Yesterday, ‘Landslide’ was up 16k on Spotify compared with last Tuesday… just sayin’. Edit: Actually just checked and it’s similar for Sunday. Yay! Hopefully it can be in the top 40 again on Friday but Kanye will probably push it out.

Love both of these songs. For me the original production of Ain’t Nobody is now a bit dated - but the song itself is amazing.

Glad to see that there is something here older than me… Even if just by a few months.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 8 Single - The Final - Results
All of the top 8 were in the top half of my list (and probably many of us can say that, hence they are so high). And half of those were in my original nominations. So keeping my fingers crossed for Smooth Criminal, In The End, Dancing On My Own and Ain’t Nobody.

UK #1s if songs were removed after reaching the top
These statistics are amazing! Thank you. I particularly love the one about Jim Reeves. And great to see Kylie doing so well – the second highest female artist. And still above Taylor Swift for the time being. Intriguing to see only 3.5 female artists here: Madonna, Kylie, Taylor and ABBA.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 8 Single - The Final - Results
3 brilliant songs. I have always loved ‘Rent’ and feel it is an overlooked classic, but delighted to see it so high. I prefer it to Suburbia - though I think ‘Suburbia’ is probably more commercial. Surprised ‘Fade To Grey’ and ‘Family Affair’ are so high. All the other songs are in my top 25 (though I did initially shortlist ‘Family Affair’ in the nominations round).

Wow! Love these stats. I had completely forgotten that Little Mix were in the lead and by quite a distance - but also am delighted and surprised to see Bananarama and Kim Wilde in there. I see a certain singer with dual British/Australian nationality is not included in the list.

‘Man I Need’ climbing again, on its way back to number 1! 🤣

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 8 Single - The Final - Results
Try is such a beautiful song, and I can’t complain about it falling out now as it is 1 place above where I placed it. 10 of my top 20 made the top 14 - but all of the songs left are good, and most of them are great.

Impressed ‘Here Comes The Rain Again’ is so high - but also sad because 6 of my top 10 have now gone. However only 3 of my 11-20 have gone. I’m still guessing Linkin Park for the win (though Robyn has also united us).

It’s great that some of the older tracks have done really well in this chart. And also finally, the last of my low scorers is out. Glad that 12 of my top 20 are still to come in the top 17.

Estimated ACR status updates 2026
Hopefully quite a clear out over the next few weeks - and fingers crossed they are replaced by some new songs.

Estimated ACR status updates 2026
I can’t remember whether the data we had in this group confirmed whether it was on SCR or was just a belief. Bearing in mind I think it had declined on Spotify, despite re-entering the top 40.

It seems too early for Stateside! But Think About Us has had its time. It’s a shame Fame Is A Gun didn’t quite take off this second time round. But overall, nice to have a clear out. I can’t remember whether Landslide is potentially DCL-3 too - despite going up and down the charts, I’m not sure whether or rather when its streaming figures have increased.

The UK Radio Airplay Chart - W/E 02 April 2026
Interesting that the radio airplay charts always seem to be very male heavy.

Oooh. I see Suzette Charles’ new track - her first in 33 years - is currently charting at 83. She was Miss America 9 years earlier after Vanessa Williams was forced to resign.

And there was me wondering why Suzette Charles had started following me on social media! Now I know why. 🤣 I look forward to listening to both of these tracks.

Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 8 Single - The Final - Results
Just realised it’s the ‘Big Bonus Mix’ of Cruel Summer by Ace of Base that I love most - possibly as I feel it deviates most from the Bananarama version, and therefore sounds more like a new song. It was because of that that I was happy giving both of them really high scores in the early rounds. I agree with all of this. I know the excitement amongst the Kylie fanbase was related to the fact that she finally had another big hit, but she only had that hit because it spoke beyond her fan base - it was very popular with many people, even if the popularity was not universal.

I genuinely love ‘Padam Padam’. It still excites me when I hear it. But it clearly divides Buzzjack - or maybe Kylie does. She has divided the music listening audience since the start of her career. Is 4 the record number of last places?
