  1. Has Gracie Adams slept with someone to get to #1? I don't want this stupid generic song sung by a cheap so and so at the top.
  2. I hope Wham are #1 come Friday. Get rid of that crap (freedom of speech). FFS (before the Swifties troll me) Taylor. Just stop.
  3. Anyone but Gracie and Gigi please. Two dour, coporate, forgettable, generic songs that are terrible.

Bit late ain't it? Surely "Bad Dreams" needs to be added.
  5. Curious question (sorry if it sounds ignorant), but what is Gok Kwan doing in the downloads chart? I didn't know he can sing, or is he just given spoken word lines? It's probably a 1000-1 shot but I do hope the Sarah version of "I'll Stand By You" does finish inside of the top 40 on Friday, and does a bit higher.
  6. Mariah....for the 30th anniversary of the song.
  7. The Feeling - First album a top seller and spawned a fair few top 40 singles. Second album did reasonably well, lead single did OK. Other singles flopped. Third album performed moderately, flop singles. Other albums have struggled since.
  8. Iggy Azealea - she was hot property in the mid 2010s, and now she's nowhere to be found. Anastacia - Big in the 2000s, but as I'm aware she had a lot of personal problems, she's not really anywhere to be found. Christina Aguilera - She hasn't troubled the singles chart since 2014. Lil' Bow Wow - Had some hits in the early 2000s, but not relevant anymore. Cher Lloyd - Infamous for causing a riot when "Swagger Jagger" got #1, had a few other hits and just vanished. Conor Maynard - Popular in 2012, faded away and known for denying paternity of a love-child. Plan B - Had a few big hits in 2009/10, made a comeback that wasn't successful and nowhere.
  9. She had some albums and songs out in the mid 2010s, but they did nothing in the album and singles chart. If she retired, then I apologise.
  10. Thank you. She's done reasonbly OK with the albums she's had, so fair play to her.
  11. Blimey. Yeah, that wouldn't have mainstream appeal. Britney Spears. She's now something of a joke. No hit single outright since 2015 (I don't count that Elton John feature as you can't hear her).
  12. Eve....relevant in the early 00s but disappeared B.O.B. - Rent a rapper in the late 00s and early 10s....now nowhere to be found. M.I.A. - Had a few hits, a single with Madonna and disappeared. Ja Rule - Big in the 00s...no longer relevant Ashanti - Darling of hip-hop and R&B. Had that hit with Aitch two years ago as a sample, and that was it. Ciara - Had a few big hits in the mid 00s...nowhere to be seen. Carly Rae Jepsen - had a few hits in the early to mid 2010s, now seems to be a staple at Pride Events.
  13. I had a collection of about 600 CDs, but then managed to half it to 200 to 100. I got rid of music I grew out of and artists I just landed disliking for various reasons (Paloma Faith). All are in two big storage boxes which are in a storage unit (I had to move in with family due to problems at home). Got a number of vinyls in storage too.
  14. Jessie J - she just disappeared and vanished Pixie Lott - her last album failed to make top 100, and she's only had gigs on Voice Kids (which nobody watched) and "Who Do You Think You Are" (the geneolagy programme) FloRida - was everywhere between 2008-2013....did Eurovision and now nowhere. Pitbull - see FloRida (sans Eurovision) Example - Popular between 2010-2013/4....had a few lower ranking albums and singles. The Hoosiers - First album and few singles popular in 2008. Second album spawned a top 20 single....disappeared and now back as a duo, with no impact.
  15. Thank the lord they've removed "Stick Season". This song is why 2024 has been so weak.
  16. Didn't Bally Sagoo have songs in Punjabi make the chart between 1996-97?
  17. What has she done during this decade period? All I have seen her on was that "Who Do You Think You Are" programme and that's that. I take it she probably took a lot of time out to be with family, and that's understandable. Just someone who was famous for that whole 2009-2012 period.
  18. Pixie Lott #69....wow! She's not relevant now and just sings for fun. Shocked Ed's album isn't #1. Boring the singles chart is.
  19. I think it's time to change the rules. Perhaps set limits on songs, how many an artist can have and maybe make radio stations (Looking at you Heart) to stop playing songs on a loop. Maybe copy Eurovision with a jury vote and let it have say 10% of the chart? Would filter out some dead wood.
  20. Why won't Beautiful Things die?

When the fame dries up, people do all kinds of stuff to stay relevant. Doubt she will. Heart is as stale as five day old donuts.

    3rd position.

Bar the Lady Gaga / Bruno duet (great song by two great voices - why ain't it #1?), I'm sick of hearing the rest. Dasha will probably be an OnlyFans model, Teddy / Benson have better songs.
  24. I always think of this gem! Could easily be on a late 1990s sex line advert or Babestation in the 2000s / 2010s.

I wish they'd stop playing Benson Boone and Teddy Swims' first singles. They do have better follow-up's people!
