Sunday Chart Predictions (Friday Update + sales)
Anyone know where Wilkinson is in today's update?

Sunday Chart Predictions (Wed Update + Top 5 Sales)
It's a pretty well crafted pop ballad to be fair.

That would seem to be true judging by the Sigma record. It was at #4 in the Tuesday midweek probably with the help of the pre-order boost but has been losing ground since then and now down to #8.

it's out on April 6th and yes, it is the same Sigma that did 'Rudeboy' ft. Doctor that was B Listed on Radio 1.

Not sure but this Sigma record doesn't have any kind of credit for Kanye West on the iTunes listing. It's just 'Nobody To Love' by Sigma.

Yes, that's the one.

Think the M&F pre-order was up to about 450-ish in the singles chart but it did drop back quite a lot in the couple of days around Christmas i.e. just before release. Not sure about Fuse.

Radio 1 Playlist (23/01/13)
They are still playing it because the new playlist does not become active until tomorrow. It's announced on Wednesday but only becomes live on the following Sunday so Scream & Shout is still on the playlist but will no longer be on the list as of tomorrow.

I agree. I realise it's just been released but still very unusual for a track to do so well with no radio/tv airplay (as far as I'm aware). Certainly not a fan of it myself.

Good question. Why is this track doing so well?

Is there a reason why is Ne-yo Forever doing so well. Getting minimal radio play (although good TV play) and I thought it had been out for weeks already?

Exactly. Of course they must know.

I don't see how it could be fair to count all of Bowie's sales. I've just received an iTunes promo email saying "pre-order album and get new song now". Surely that gives the song an unfair advantage? They should absolutely count songs bought individually for 99p, but not those as part of an album pre-order -and I would think they have the facility to do this if they want to. Perhaps they are just trying to drum up a bit of controversy/suspense, which is always good PR and at the last minute they will make the song eligible.

This is a quote from the MW article: "the Official Charts Company has since said that sales of the single track do count towards the official Top 40, meaning 'Where Are We Now?' will enter if it achieves enough sales." Does this mean they will count only the second entry for this song on iTunes (currently at #75), which I assume is the standard single version, not the version related to his album promotion?

But surely that would have easily been long enough for it reach top 40 judging by how well it's now doing?
