Take That Coronation Setlist
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI know 'Greatest Hits' are seemingly a thing of the past, which is why we got 'Odyssey' with remixes. However, seeing 'Never Forget: The Ultimate Collection' doing well post coronation, I do feel they have missed a trick not putting out a 'Greatest Hits: Vol 2' for people to stream. It would also be good in light of the film: 'Greatest Days' coming out. Look at Queen, Elton and Abba's greatest hits continuing to do well by streaming, and non remixes. 'Greatest Day '23' was good but 'Shine' and 'Never Forget' really got the crowd going. I like the fact they chose three songs in which they all have lead, showing the difference between Take That and many other boybands. It's just a shame during their career Jason never got his lead single with 'Wooden Boat', liked by both audiences and critics. The reality for Take That is the three have to keep the band together as to wait for Jason and especially Robbie could be an NSYNC situation: indefinite. By which time they could have majorly lost their fanbase, which I believe would be harder to get back now. The Backstreet Boys had some flop singles/albums (compared to their normal placings) for years as a four piece, but because they kept going the member returned and they eventually began an upturn.

Take That Coronation Setlist
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWhat would people like the group to sing? For me, in no particular order, I think: Greatest Day ('23 remix) Shine Rule the World Giants These Days. It would be great if four appear, AMAZING if all 5. However, Robbie is doing a solo concert at Royal Sandringham.

Take That, Robin Schulz & Calum Scott - Greatest Day
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI like it more than the original, which takes far too long to get going in my opinion. Aside from the coronation concert, I hope this version is promoted properly as it has the potential to do well over the summer. Also, the itunes charts are no longer a true indicator of whether a song will do well in the national charts. Songs have been in the top ten all week there but not made the official Top 100.

Take That Touring Worldwide
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatHopefully they will tour different countries in Europe, and one off shows elsewhere. Years old now, but these articles provide analysis for the demand in the USA, South America & Mexico. I also know that they would do well with a Canadian gig in either Vancouver or Toronto. https://www.radiocremebrulee.com/take-that/...tour-in-the-us/ https://www.radiocremebrulee.com/take-that/...n-south-america

Take That Touring Worldwide
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatPersonally I wish they toured more like Robbie, in the sense of choosing new countries to play shows. At the moment the two foreign shows for 2023 are Denmark and Finland. I'm glad they are performing in Finland again as their last show there was in 1994. I'm going to write the countries Robbie has performed concerts in below, just to show the extra places he has performed. In the past Take That have played concerts in: (last concert stated) Africa No concerts ever. They really should play South Africa at least. They have a loyal fan base on the continent, and chart success during both eras. Robbie: South Africa. Asia Indonesia, 1995. Israel, 2017. *First Appearance* Japan, 1995. Singapore, 2016. Taiwan, 2007. Thailand, 2016. United Arab Emirates, 2024. Robbie: Hong Kong, Qatar. Europe Austria, 2019. Belgium, 2019. Denmark, 2019. Finland, 1994. France, 2019. Germany, 2019. Ireland, 2019. Italy, 2019. Netherlands, 2019. Spain, 2007. Sweden, 2006. Switzerland, 2019. UK, 2019. I would say they should add a concert in Spain and Sweden to their upcoming concerts. Robbie: Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia. North America No concerts ever. Canada has always had a moderate reception to TT, including a #1 record with 'Back For Good' and Top 40's with 'It Only Takes a Minute' and 'Patience', plus a few other Top 100 entries. There is a strong presense/demand on social media there. USA. Las Vegas Residency or a few shows there would be nice. Robbie: Canada, Mexico, USA. Oceania Australia, 2017. New Zealand, 2017. *First Appearance* South America No concerts ever. This is a big one. The social media dedication from Brazil, Argentina, and Chile especially are huge for them. I believe they really do need to play some concerts in these countries. Robbie: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay. I really hope Take That play shows in Africa, North America and South America in the future for the first time. I think they owe it to their loyal and patient fans.

Radio 2: Nation's Favourite Take That Song
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThe vote was based on any of their Top 75 UK single chart placings: https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2022/bbc-...t-song-revealed I would say the top 11 are all pop standards. Though I also love Said It All and Love Ain't Here Anymore.

Missed Potential Take That Singles
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWhich Take That songs do you think would have been a great single that never was? I'm going to do one track per studio album, and am including European releases (Reach Out, The Garden etc) as out of the running: Take That & Party: Give Good Feeling. Everything Changes: Another Crack In My Heart. Nobody Else: The Day After Tomorrow. Beautiful World: Wooden Boat. *It's such a shame this wasn't released, as then all members would have had a lead track single.* The Circus: Here. Progress: Eight Letters. III: Do It All For Love. Wonderland: Wonderland. Thoughts?

nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take Thathttps://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/...lmed-clitheroe/ I went to Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland, Lancashire, last year and it was beautiful. The film is also being shot in London and Greece I read, but can't find that article at the moment. I hope the original song they do for this is great. Will the original song be TT3 or plus Robbie?

Take That Youtube Views
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThey need to look into the Rule The World video as it is only 1.44 long and doesn't have any stardust clips. A full length video with or without the film clips would be fine, and have views around The Flood and Patience mark, I believe.

Music Played By Humans: 27 November
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatAre McFly even a big act? They have a loyal fanbase, though have had diminishing returns since their first and most succesful album. Gary could potential sell what McFly would in total, in a few weeks, if not the first. McFly UK Studio Album cert level given. 600,000, 300,000, 300,000, 100,000, 100,000, 100,000. (McBusted) And speaking of Busted here are their UK Studio Album cert levels. 1.2 million, 900,000, 100,000, (McBusted) 60,000, Last studio album currently less than 60,000. Both McFly and Busted peaked with first studio album in terms of sales, however Busted are close to having second album equal 1.2 million threshold. Gary UK Studio Album cert levels. 300,000, 2nd studio album currently less than 60,000. 100,000, 600,000.

If Robbie Had Been In East 17
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWould tables have turned and they have been most popular pop act in Britain? Robbie has said East 17 are one of his favourite pop bands and joked that he would have been better fitted in that group. If he was a member, do you feel compared to a 4 man Take That in 90s, East 17 would have done better and potentially outsold Take That? Thoughts.

Take That and Robbie Reunite
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI agree, the drop off was something huge. I too had always hoped they would at least break over 1 million with all albums. Though, they had two albums in 90s which didn't sell over a million, though Take That & Party is quite close. They really have to work for a hit lead off single and with no multiple hits coming off the albums, it's inevitable sales won't match. Robbie though is in exact same position and sales as Take That, so I feel it just happens the longer you are around.

Take That and Robbie Reunite
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThe Flood is iconic. Albums of theirs I love are Beautiful World, Progress and Nobody Else. Their vocals and musicianship peaked on that album, regarding first phase. It is also by far globally furthest reaching album. It also blended fun pop with great adult contemporary. Without that album success, there are places (North/South America) which simply wouldn't have known Take That existed. I too loved The Circus at the time, though have disinterest in it now and much prefer three albums mentioned above. Take That & Party, Everything Changes, III and Wonderland are never played by me. Though I love 'Another Crack In My Heart' from Everything Changes and play this still. I think Odyssey works for someone not familiar with Take That, hearing those versions as first timers with no preconceptions. That is feedback I have got, sending this album to others, namely as all singles are in one place, if not their original versions.

Nobody Else - Front Cover
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI agree for the tone and progression, even if fans wanted pure pop still, cover mis-represents maturity. They should have flipped pictures in booklet had the pensive all 5, black background as cover and dolls image inside cover of booklet. I don't like the version of Never Forget on the album. The Jim Steinman single remix, globally known, is far superior for me and money well spent. There is no way the single would be as iconic or mark TT out as different without the Steinman boombast. Take That & Party is my least favourite album, it sounds like a big confusion of ideas, production, vocals and lack of identity. Again, Could It Be Magic and Why Can't I Wake Up With You would have gone nowhere without the remixes, in my opinion. It Only Takes a Minute, A Million Love Songs, Promises and Give Good Feeling, I feel being only songs which have stood test of time. Take That and Party also holds a certain charm still also.

Nobody Else - Front Cover
nirvanamusic posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWhat are other thoughts on this? It is my favourite 90s album from them, due to the maturity and deeper songwriting from Gary, in my opinion. However now as an adult, I feel the front cover featuring the dolls and child like items, Teddy, crayon etc, does album a disservice to an older and new potential audience. Even though they are very much brooding and on complete other end of spectrum, less fun more serious on US album cover. I feel I like this image as a front cover more, you don't know what to epect from the album. The dolls cover seems a bit juvenile perhaps and doesn't represent depth of album to a non fan. As fans we know it is a great album, thoughts?
