  1. Interesting statistics regarding Supergirl's debut on Sky One!

Supergirl got off to a soaring start in the UK, as it has become Sky 1's highest-rated series launch in nearly three years.

The US show, which had an overnight audience of 680,000 viewers for its first episode, added another million to bring its consolidated total to 1.64 million

Not since March 2013 - when JJ Abrams's Revolution attracted 2.15 million - has a launch managed such numbers on the channel.

The Flash earned 1.59 million for its Sky 1 debut.

55% of people who tuned into Supergirl were male.

  2. I've seen more of this then I was expecting since the first show but I'm still not overly warming to it. It still feels too rushed for me and it feels like all the guests are very pointless. As said though, it is still nice to see many music acts having a place to perform.
  3. That reminds me of one I saw where there was a, let's say a bit of an oddball, who basically alienated himself from everyone, which one of the women took advantage of and sought a disagreement with him over everything. At one point, he just snaps and shouts in her face 'JUST SHUT UP' and then just smiles to himself and acts as though nothing has happened.

  5. full thoughts later but what an EXCELLENT two parter that was. After the previous two have been slightly off for me, that brought what Doctor Who is right to the forefront again. Peter Capaldi gave his best performance yet imo and the box scene provided his biggest 'Doctor moment' yet.
  6. France will select its 2016 Eurovision entry and act via an internal selection.

France 2 has opted for an internal selection in order to select the French song and act for Stockholm.

Artists, songwriters, composers and singers wishing to represent France at the forthcoming 2016 Eurovision Song Contest can send in their entries to France 2 until 31 October.

The song has to be at least 80% in French and 20% in a foreign language. The pontential candidates can be of any nationality but are required to be able to speak and sing in French. Age limit for the potential artists has been set to 50 years of age.

Hereafter a special committee will evaluate all received entries and after making their deliberation will select the 2016 French Eurovision entry and act.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, France.

In 2015 France opted for an internal selection and selected Lisa Angell to fly the French flag with her entry N’obliez pas.

France is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest and debuted in the event in 1956 and has won the competition 5 times.

So my kiss of death continues once more as tin plate fanatics Jenny & Lee are the next to leave. It's a very result for them though considering they joined the series this tme last year and so it shows that they've quickly warmed to your hearts. They do provide many a funny moment, normally due to Jenny saying something slightly stupid and Lee giving her a disproving look or comment.
