Yeah same here. Because a lot of people who watch it now didn't watch the classic series he can get away with acting like McCoy and people will think he's original.

Why do they need a purpose? Why can't they just live? And they have other purposes anyway like wool/milk. When you think of little lambs in a field do you honesty not feel guilty at all?

No, because I haven't been brought up thinking it's ok to eat horses. You could say that with dog too. It's ok to eat it in some countries and they think nothing of it, yet we think it's disgusting. I don't buy the whole 'bred for food' thing as a justification to eat meat anyway.

They're only traditional because that's what you've been brought up as believing. If you were given horse to eat from a young age you wouldn't know any different.
