Where’s CMAT?! Come on Radio 1!- Radio 1 Playlist (28/03/25)
Yes Clairo is great, well worth a listen, especially Charm!- Friday Chart Predictions
The brilliant CMAT is back. My favourite country leaning pop artist. So underrated, well worth a listen to the fabulous new single…or her whole back catalogue to be fair! Would love her to become a really huge star.- New Release Schedule: Friday 21 March
Favourite album out this week is the wonderful Japanese Breakfast- Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 7 Single - The Final
White Lines is easily my favourite song out so far. A real hip hop classic and brings back so many memories of my school days. At the time there was a rumour that a massive proportion of its sales, certainly early on, were from up here in the north of the country on 12 inch as it was absolutely huge in the clubs. Then it later caught on across the whole country, hence the record breaking slow climb to the top 20 and the relatively huge sales for a number 7 single. So glad it made the final, thanks guys!- Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 21/03/25
The new Yungblud song is epic. Way over the top, in a good way, like something off Meat Loaf’s Bat Out Of Hell !! 😂- Friday Chart Predictions
Oh no, didn’t realise the visuals weren’t included! I agree probably not worth the extra then. Thanks for the info, saved me a few pennies!- Friday Chart Predictions
Yes that’s a really lovely surprise, it’s a great album! I love a bit of space rock. Was considering getting the blu-ray version, do you think it’s worth the extra investment? As mentioned by others, the new Sleep Token single feels very prog influenced too so I’m happy with the charts this week!- New Release Schedule: Friday 14 March
Wanted to give a shout out to the Steven Wilson album ‘The Overview’ a really great prog rock/space rock epic.- Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 14/03/25
Really great song, I can hear some prog rock influences too!- Streaming Services Chart Discussion; W/C 14/03/25
Bold prediction for The Giver,> 1 million peak Spotify streams and number 1 with > 100,000 ‘sales’ this week . Will probably look stupid by the end of the week but better to have tried and failed….. Great song, very Shania. Getting the job done Chappell! Hoping for a big ‘event’ number 1- Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 7 Single - The Final
42 from me! One of my favourite PSB singles, though pretty much all of them from their imperial period are fantastic!- Friday Chart Predictions
It’s fantastic, well worth a listen! My AOTY so far!- Friday Chart Predictions
That Divorce album (Drive to Goldenhammer) is absolutely fantastic, my AOTY so far. I heard a description of them as a cross between ABBA and Wilco, which is as good as it gets for me. I predict some Mercury Prize glory!- Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 7 Single - The Final

Overall, though, I feel it’s (mostly) a really great 50, good work guys!- Friday Chart Predictions
Don’t get me wrong, I love Pink Pony Club as a song, I just meant as a chart ‘event’ a big selling new song would be great too, especially with the current lull the charts are in at the moment! Both great shouts, thanks!- Friday Chart Predictions
I love Chappell but I feel if she were to squeeze in a low selling number one with an old song it would be a bit of an anticlimax. Was hoping her first number one would be a huge selling event single going straight to the top. Through chart history I’ve loved it when an artist has built up popularity to be an obviously huge star, coming closer to the number one each step until finally managing it with a massive lead single. Of the top of my head I’m thinking Take That, Duran Duran, Adam and the Ants… I’m sure there’s loads more, can anyone suggest others they remember/enjoyed?- Buzzjack's Ultimate UK Number 7 Single - 2nd Semi-Final
I did expect Bloc Party to come last but disappointed at Glen Campbell being so low, such a beautiful song- MARINA - BUTTERFLY

Expecting big things from the new Fontaines DC song ‘It’s Amazing To Be Young’. Possibly due for release tomorrow?- Friday Chart Predictions
