  1. Sure, but SnS is career defining levels of longevity. It's still a massive success if it has even half the longevity of SnS
  2. Yep, it had a bigger increase today compared to last year, and it was already bigger. The hits arent as big, and the sales possibly stunted as a result, but the album as a package is streaming better. Probably wont hold up quite as good, I dont think we'll see 46 weeks in the top 5, but i think it's good to show you can be both an album artist and a singles artist.
  3. Overall, MBF is 18.24% bigger than SNS on day 4 in the UK. When you account for the rule that reduces the top 2 songs to album Average, MBF is streaming 31.5% bigger
  4. I like both, and I have a feeling we'll have the old one back eventually. Youtube teased more endings coming too, so I think it's going to have a purpose (beyond the obvious of getting more views)
  5. Yeah 80k feels more likely at this point unless some pre-orders havent shipped yet. For comparison, last year she released on bank Holiday week so we got a tuesday update: 01 Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet (69,698) [54,594 physicals, 14,199 streaming, 905 downloads]
  6. She's only peaked at #1 or #6. She's trying some new stuff this week
  7. I think itll be closer to its current peak than it will be to anything super exciting, at 2.8k currently. Needed 3.1 last week to hit a new peak
  8. This is where SnS was on Tuesday last year, for anyone curious 01 Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet (69,698) [54,594 physicals, 14,199 streaming, 905 downloads]
  9. I'm really interested in what eics does. I hope it can hang onto a top 10 this week, make sabrina's 4th top 10
  10. Yeah possibly valid, but i'd assume not lapping CMAT, cause last year against Romance they said "outselling her competition 2 to 1"
  11. I wonder what OCC means by closely following behind for CMAT
  12. The video has a new ending now, and YouTube is teasing more to come
  13. Huge 2nd day drop but similar 3rd day drop to SnS. And notably, not top heavy at all. MBF is losing only about half the streams that SnS lost from the rule that the 2 highest streaming songs get reduced to album average
  14. With how MBF is streaming so far, i'm gonna set the O/U at 100k
  15. Thats not how the music industry works, that's how stan Twitter works lol. Labels make so little on streaming compared to sales, they'd much rather an artist sell than not sell but limp around the top of the charts on streams. And i'm certainly not going to listen to someone try to explain how the industry works when they think that releasing a #1 song that spent 8 weeks in the top 5 and sold 5000 vinyls in the UK at 15 pounds a pop off an album that's going to sell a ton of copies and create at least 2 more top 10 hits is a bad idea and a good idea is releasing none of that and instead pushing a song that peaked as the 16th biggest song behind 2 album tracks a year ago Besides, as to your last thing you said in the previous comment, sabrina says she felt 0 pressure to release anything new. She was just going through a difficult breakup and coped by writing. And sure she won't admit "the label demanded a new album immediately" but she is on the same label as Chappell Roan, who hasnt even recorded the rest of her 2nd album and says it's ok if it takes another 3 years. Since Midwest Princess was released, Sabrina has released her Christmas EP, Short n Sweet, SnS deluxe, and MBF, and has a good chance to release MBF deluxe and who knows what else before Chappell drops another album. If Island is OK with Chappell's output, I fully buy sabrina's story that she wasnt facing any pressure to release.
  16. Unless they didnt get Spotify numbers at all, I think it's golden this week
  17. This is such a tough one because I love House Tour, I think goodbye could be big with the right video. But I think to do good with a post-release single you need something extra, and I think when did you get hot has the best opportunity to include a feature. I picture after chorus 2, get Megan thee stallion to do a verse on it, then do another chorus and the outro with Megan adding some adlibs with sabrina on the outro. I think thatd be such a great way to finish a song that I think needs just a little more to really be that song
  18. Thank you for asking about that, lol. Here in america, we have Labor day on Monday, i figured yall had a version too when everyone was talking about tuesday updates
  19. no single physicals
  20. Goodbye could easily be another single imo. It's got that good energy you want from a moving on song
  21. This is silly. You know it already had a #1 right? Virtually guaranteed another top 3. Also, Juno's peak was outside the top 10 even when starred out, saying it was guaranteed a #1 when it was only the 7th highest peak of any SnS song is crazy work. And at least in America (since UK doesnt have as many numbers available yet), early numbers indicate week 1 will be another SnS level success. You can dislike the album, plenty have, plenty disliked SnS too. But to deny that this album has already shown massive amounts of success is wild.
  22. Oh yeah, SnS only needed somewhere between 344-617 units to go from 13 to top 10 last week, and it should easily do that i think, between streaming increases, sales increases, and anyone who would have a chance at #1 holding off because they know sabrina is going #1. Especially because the strategy seems to be to boost all 3 Island albums as much as possible this week. Which brings me to my main curiosity of the week, can emails I cant send reach a new peak? #39 was at 3,104, i'd imagine eics is doing around 1000 or so on an average week. Can it sell and stream the 2000+ it needs with help from MBF and the deluxe being released on vinyl for the first time?
  23. I'm really curious to see what emails I cant send will do, increased streams thanks to MBF, plus fwd released on vinyl for the first time through her site. Would've needed 3,105 units last week to reach a new peak
  24. Very very impressive, but lowkey I expected something like this. You don't maintain top 5 for 46 weeks without constantly gaining new fans, and then they show up en masse for the next album along with anyone curious about the album. I'm really interested to see how it maintains through the week. Personally, it's only gotten stronger for me
