Also she gets to perform it at lolla, which is the same strategy she used to push Espresso, Pleasex3, and Manchild to new heights. A manchild level single would carry us to the album even if it ultimately doesnt stay near the top for too long

Yeah, I mean youd think if this is happening, they'd move one of their dates (probably chappell because sabrina has had the same strategy for her last 3 pre-release singles that have all been very successful and sabrina is preparing for an album so timing is important whereas chappell just posted she still hasnt written CR2). Chappell and Sabrina both are at least in contention for #1 any time they release so you're creating the possibility of losing a #1 in the process. But who knows, maybe Sabrina isnt doing a 2nd single

Her name has grown according to luminate thanks to short n sweet deluxe and fortnite and whatnot, so maybe she can have a better week 1, but that level of sustainability will be difficult/impossible. But I guess my point is if theoretically mbf gets the numbers sns got in its first 17-18 weeks (what mbf will get for this year), to me Oasis seems like theyre gonna get more than that.
