  1. I'm really curious to see what emails I cant send will do, increased streams thanks to MBF, plus fwd released on vinyl for the first time through her site. Would've needed 3,105 units last week to reach a new peak
  2. Very very impressive, but lowkey I expected something like this. You don't maintain top 5 for 46 weeks without constantly gaining new fans, and then they show up en masse for the next album along with anyone curious about the album. I'm really interested to see how it maintains through the week. Personally, it's only gotten stronger for me
  3. Nah Ravyn Lenae is going to in a few months. They went head to head in manchild's 2nd week at #1, after ordinary went on ACR
  4. If i had a nickel for every time this year that #1 was predicted to come down to Sabrina going up against one of her tour openers, I would have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
  5. The decision to cast colman domingo was perfect, love that Sabrina celebrates drag here. That ending is funny, love a little meta humor. Still have the chorus stuck in my head and i'm ok with that. Tears is polarizing but on an album that didnt have as many stand out songs as SnS, I think it was a great choice for a single

  8. I waited for midnight for yall to post my thoughts, but I liked this album on first listen much more than I did SnS on first listen. That disco sound with a little kiss of country really works for Sabrina. Lyrically, i'll have to listen and consider things more but right now I like how raw it feels. EICS and SnS both felt like reflecting on her past feelings with new perspective, and I love hearing her thoughts like that, but I also love that MBF feels like she's currently struggling with those emotions, it feels A bit disappointed we got a more cohesive album, I like the way EICS/SnS bounced from genre to genre to match the vibe of each song, I thought that was really uniquely sabrina. And I dont think this one quite has the big poppy singles that SnS had, where it felt like more than half the album couldve been big singles. But all in all, loved it
  9. I get wet at the thought of you, Being a responsible guy. Treating me like you're supposed to, Tears run down my thighs This chorus will be stuck in my head for the next 10 years, and i'm ok with that, even despite all the stares I'll get
  10. I can neither confirm nor deny that these lyrics are very stuck in my head right now
  11. Oh yes, very different from Manchild. Honestly, Manchild, while not like a million miles away from the rest of the album, sticks out like a sore thumb sonically. Theres nothing with that harsh of a synth, for lack of a better word. Sounded almost like an 8 bit song, you know? That element i think was the worst part of manchild and I didnt hear it anywhere else on the album.
  12. I'm from america but lets pretend i'm from new zealand for legal purposes. I am really enjoying Tears, and I am very curious how itll translate to a horror video
  13. The teasers are very horror esque and she ate up horror in Taste. Excited to hear the song, to me it sounds like an orchestral intro, so I wonder where it goes from there
  14. Another teaser for the tears video. Ignore that she says 12AM Thursday, i'm confident she means 12AM ET Friday (aka 5AM friday BST), when the album releases in america Link to Teaser
  15. Not saying she'll stream the same way, but this is what her reported numbers were overlaid with last week's totals, so she wont need to do the same numbers to get 3 top 5s like last year 01 67,477 Sabrina Carpenter- Taste [938 downloads, 66,539 streaming] 01 59,449 HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI & KPop Demon Hunters Cast - Golden [1,970 downloads, 57,479 streaming] 02 55,660 Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please 03 49,298 Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso 02 37,494 Disco Lines & Tinashe - No Broke Boys 03 34,212 Saja Boys, Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee & KPop Demon Hunters Cast - Soda Pop 04 33,952 Chappell Roan - The Subway 05 31,794 MK feat. 16. I'm gonna predict 3 top 10, but one of them is Manchild being reset
  17. Yeah, I'm very excited for the video, and the song sounds like it could be good too, though we don't hear much from it
  18. I feel like that wouldve come up. Reportedly, the writing/producer credits are: Sabrina Carpenter, John Ryan, Julian Bunetta, and Amy Allen
  19. Link to Teaser Sabrina has announced via IG that the release single will be Tears, Track 2. She posted a teaser for it, with the b-side of manchild, so that mystery is solved
  20. Without leaving the top 11, almost made it all the way through in the top 10.
  21. According to the people who went, she picked them based on their social media mostly, fans whose twitter/tiktok posts she loves
  22. Sabrina held a final playdate in London, stating she wanted to do one in each of the cities she made the album in. She spent January in London and said it was a half vacation, but clearly the other half was MBF
  23. I've heard a lot of the people from the listening parties call it her best album, but thats such a high emotion environment. I mean they were saying that after dancing with Sabrina herself, and finding out that Sabrina hand picked them. I hope theyre right though
