  1. As I said, she caught a hit on her way down. It was a success but it doesnt mean the audience that made it a hit will be there for your next work
  2. It's a mix of the fact that her album is a lot less commercial this time and she's on the back end of her prime and happened to catch a hit with Flowers on the way down. Nothing happened, it's just how things go
  3. Oh that'd be awful
  4. Short N Sweet looks like it could be heading back to #1
  5. Sabrina posted a teaser to something. Coming to save us from Alex Warren
  6. Alex obviously gets a 12th week at #1 Something Beautiful vs reputation in the albums
  7. Major news today that might impact future charts: Taylor has got back her masters and admitted rep tv is only a quarter recorded and didn't seem to want to record it anymore
  8. It might come down to the wire in the albums. Another 2 or so might do it for the sparks
  9. Wow, bigger drop than i expected. Thanks!
  10. Also first time I believe she'd be at #1 simply by attrition. Her #1s have come because of the debut, her christmas special/christmas sales, deluxe release, and UK tour/Brits. Which is crazy for someone heading for their 40th week in the top 5
  11. Where's wallen in the albums?
  12. For me, thats why its interesting. So many bands and artists i wouldve never heard of in a million years with the singles chart
  13. One thing i want to say in this discussion is that y'all are lucky to get a chart show anyway. Not to say you shouldn't be upset, but in America we have a somewhat equivalent of the big top 40, and it's terrible. Sometimes they just randomly throw in songs because why not. And like 50 million ads, all for a chart that nobody takes that seriously. The hot 100 gets an article about the top 10 on Monday and the full chart on Tuesday. No chart show. I mean, there's a reason why I'm here and not listening to an American one (also cause yall have a little better taste). Missing out a few times a year still means you get almost 50 more than you could get.
  14. Looks like Sabrina will be extending her record at #2
  15. I'm not quite ready to rule out Ed's tour collection just yet. If Ed averages 9k (what he did this week) the rest of the year, he'll end up around 450. Short n Sweet would need to average ~5k the rest of the year to do 450. Which is totally reasonable, but I'm not sure it's a fait accompli.
  16. "I'm sorry, what was that?" - everyone to lorde this week after she talked about the Pamela Anderson tape
  17. The review was hilarious, though i think they were a bit harsh
  18. I think it'll be a very light 2.
  19. Sabrina was actually once, please took over in its 2nd week. But I believe Guess and Backbone both debuted at #1. Edit: also, Eminem's Houdini
  20. This was a real passing of the torch moment
  21. If beautiful things hit ACR, no doubt Music Week would've brought that up, right? I mean, thats a huge development
  22. Short n Sweet ties the record for most weeks at #2 for a non-soundtrack with Bridge Over Troubled Water at 23 weeks. Thats a lot of being narrowly blocked from the top
  23. It's a nailbiter. I think they do it
  24. They're gonna interview pope crave? Well now I'm excited
  25. I was thinking that, like man I bet James Arthur wishes he had the foresight to realize he had a shot this week and delayed his album
