I thought it'd be interesting to look at who was most impacted by ACR this year. I took JulianT's estimated non-ACR chart and compared it to the official chart. The way I decided to go about it is by counting up how many times each performer had a #1, a top 5 spot, or a top 10 spot. Artists who got more weeks in each bracket because of ACR, I'm calling the biggest gainers. Lol right, mad respect to Chappell she had a hell of a year but I dont know how you call her queen of pop in 2024 when sabrina blocked her from #1 at every turn, broke records, and had a higher consumed album despite only having 1/3rd of the time available

The rumor is that the videos been recorded for months and they've just been waiting for vinyl production and the holidays to end

SZA is dropping an album on Friday that I think will be combined with her SOS album still in the top 40, but it'll be a full length album. Week 2 last time she did 11k and I think has only gotten bigger so she might take post christmas clearout week, and by that point other albums might start to come out to compete in the new year.

I feel like it's just a little too close to call still with Buble/Sabrina. Buble right now is basically where Sabrina was last week, the difference right now is Sabrina gaining 488 units week over week. I could see Buble have a better end to the week than last week and sabrina having the same as she did last week and buble take it. I hope Sabrina finishes strong though lol

I feel like this is an interesting question, it's such an edge case. I've been thinking about it for a bit, and the comparison I come back to is Taylor's versions. They're slight tweaks on the same song but the melody is fully re-recorded, and they don't inherit the OG song's chart run. A Nonsense Christmas is lyrically quite a large tweak but I assume they just use the same melody recording with some bells in there. So my question is: is a nonsense christmas more or less similar to nonsense than Taylor's versions are to the OG?
