A year ago they had combined for 12 weeks in the top 40 across 3 songs in their careers, none inside the top 20. This year, they've combined for 366 weeks in the top 40 across 22 hits, including 143 weeks across 13 top 10 hits, and 27 weeks at the summit. I mean yeah that shows how stagnant the chart is, but it also shows how good this year has been for artists introducing themselves to the mainstream
