Maybe it didn't today but its youtube numbers are pretty wild, its increasing in streams everywhere else, and it likely has good digital sales with a kpop act on it. It's the exact kind of triple threat I really wish Sabrina would use as a big Sabrina carpenter fan, ive been saying this for months in other places. You combine kpop sales and their insane youtube numbers with Sabrina's streaming numbers and insane for western artist youtube numbers and you'd have an unstoppable force. Plus Sabrina and Lisa are good friends and are fans of each other, so a collab doesn't seem crazy

It's always hard to predict I think. Sabrina's rollout was so good it was easier to keep it going strong than most artists, and when the momentum fades she might need a song that captures attention as hard as Espresso did the next time she releases a lead single. Though this era isn't over yet, bed chem with a video at the right time could do it, a song off her Christmas EP from last year could see a boost with her Netflix Christmas special (ideally buy me presents, but I'm not picky), or a deluxe released at the right time could still get her back there quicker than most might imagine

True, I think its quite likely the #2 album released in 2024 when the smoke clears, but the energy feels a bit different, like people bought Taylor's album for the overall album where they bought Sabrina's album because the 2 pre-release hits were so good and they wanted more singles from her

I know, I've been thinking about that for a few weeks as we got closer to double. It's inarguable that Taylor is a bigger star than Sabrina, I mean there's a reason why the year started with Sabrina opening for Taylor and not vice versa. And yet, here's Sabrina casually doing something in 6 months that Taylor might not be able to do in her entire career. The difference between a singles artist and an album artist I suppose lol.

The climb of sabrina this year has been insane. Last year the BBC was censoring her dirty lyrics on YouTube, now they're censoring her dirty lyrics in the top 10
