The BuzzJack Friday Chart Show Thread: 12th December 2025
December is so boring nowadays in the charts. I had a listen of the UK Top 40 of this week in 2004 - that one is brilliant except the #1: https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singles-chart/20041212/7501/

Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2001 - #5
Everything is better than DJ Ötzi.

gooddelta ranks the UK No.1s of 1999
"If I Let You Go" i for me the best out of the four Westlife songs, but still pretty average. Perfect Moment is quite boring eventhough her voice is good - the production is way to safe. Here come my places 30 - 26: 30 911 - A Little Bit More 3/10 29 Boyzone - You Needed Me 4/10 (Jewels & Stones Remix 7/10, but only counting the radio versions) 28 B*Witched - Blame It On The Weatherman 4/10 27 Martine McCutcheon - Perfect Moment 4/10 26 Westlife - If I Let You Go 5/10

DaTilt Top 50 11th of December 2025
Thank you all for commenting. "Church" will definitely gaining next week - at the moment many songs need a bit time to gain for me. Thanks for the points @PFSC - was very satisifed that it made a Top 10 position. Currently I am unsure who will be #1 next week - atm three songs have chances for the top spot next week - Esibizionista is one of them. "Francesca" is great - one of my favourite songs in BJSC 180. "Faker" is a great grower and is likely to gain some places next week. Glad that I discovered "Tumbal Proyek" through BJSC. Hope it will reach a good position in the final. Still have to listen to the other Jade songs properly, but "Church" is already very strong. "Mature" is decent - a song that grows with each listen.

Sergej's Personal Chart 12.12.2025
Not the biggest christmas song enthusiast tbh, but it is nice to see Annalisa still staying strong in the Top 3 despite all these christmas songs. Checked out also "Choosin' Texas" last week, but it hasn't clicked so far.

Jade's Top 40 | #454 (11.12.25)
Hi Jade, nice that Londontown is so consistent in your Top 10. I guess that Man/Woman/Chainsaw is the one from the BJSC - unfortunately that song didn't catch me. "Church" entering is nice - it is really catchy. "Chains Of Love" and "Berghain" also still high in my charts.

AirPlay Top 40 | December 7, 2025
Except the great Sigrid songs I don't know anything from your Top 10 - time to check some of them out. I like the new entries from Sofia Camara and Tate.

Jade ranks the 2006 #1s
IDFLD is very good - I think it would be in my Top 5. However, "Patience" is not on my toplist and would be outside the top 10 for me.

gooddelta ranks the UK No.1s of 1999
"When The Going Get's Tough" is quite a better Boyzone song as it is a bit more uptempo than their usual stuff, but this position is OK for it.

Mango's Top 40 (08/12/25): I'm a good girl until the day that I die
Unfortunately, "Run This Town" hasn't clicked for me, but over all I like Ollie's Ska album and his tribute to Madness. "Gabriela" and "Unaffected" are both among my favourite 100 songs of the year. Somewhat I don't get in the mood for christmas songs this year, so I have not charted Kylie yet.

JSG'S Top 40, #160, 10/12/25, The Fate Of a Superstar lies in a Cheap Hotel
Nice that "Mature" has reached your Top 10. "Cheap Hotel" and "Wicker Women" seem to be a big hit for you - I also like them too, but both faded for me quite quickly. Nice chart.

Piran's Personal Chart (17/12/2025)
Fine that Sienna found a way into your chart. I also like "Church" - but have not checked the other ones from Jade's additional songs properly. "Faker" is great - thanks for bringing it to my attention.

DaTilt CD collection project
I have sorted them in special boxes sorted by year. I rarely put the CD's out, but have ripped them all to my harddrive and regularly generate playlists from it. I also regularly compile the UK Top 40 of specific weeks and listen to them. I don't use any streaming services - everything I listen to except some youtube videos are playlists created by me or compilations and mixes I find at mixcloud. I have a still quite huge wantlist at discogs: https://www.discogs.com/wantlist?user=InDeepSpace . Of course I'm happy for help - Brexit somewhat slowed down the process a bit. So if you have something from that list, let me know. 🙂

DaTilt CD collection project
I have the plan to collect all single CD's of songs, which entered the UK Top 40 in a certain timeframe. Initially this was only intended for the UK Top 40 in the 1990's, but I have extended it part by part and have now a time range from 1989 to 2006. Before 1989 is difficult, because not everything had a CD release as single. Even in 1989 and 1990 some singles were not released on CD, so I counted these exceptions in my collection, when I own the main version on a compilation or album-CD. From 2007 on it is also difficult, because due to downloads for some songs there were no physical releases. The following graphic shows the percentage of Top 40 singles I own for each respective year: As I jsut recently started systematicilly collecting 2005 and 2006, these numbers are still a bit low. 1989 is not that easy to collect, because the pressing numbers of single CD's were much lower than in the 1990's. For the 90's I am quite close and only a few are missing: Year Artist Title Peak 1990 New Kids On The Block Cover Girl 4 1990 Malandra Burrows Just This Side Of Love 11 1990 Little Angels She's A Little Angel 21 1990 Pat & Mick Use It Up And Wear It Out 22 1990 Faith No More From Out Of Nowhere 23 1990 Megadeth Holy Wars 24 1990 Carpenters Merry Christmas Darling 25 1990 Eric Clapton Bad Love 25 1990 Thunder Backstreet Symphony 25 1990 NWA Express Yourself 26 1990 Paul McCartney Birthday 29 1990 Rolling Stones Almost Hear You Sigh 31 1990 Emma Give A Little Love Back To The World 33 1990 Little Angels Radical Your Lover 34 1990 All About Eve Scarlet 34 1990 Thunder She's So Fine 34 1990 Paul McCartney All My Trials 35 1990 Whitesnake The Deeper The Love 35 1990 Dogs D'Amour Victims Of Success 36 1990 Orchestra On The Half Shell Turtle Rhapsody 36 1990 Quireboys There She Goes Again 37 1990 James Lose Control 38 1990 And Why Not Something You Got 39 1990 Motley Crue Without You 39 1990 The Beloved Your Love Takes Me Higher 39 1990 Lenny Kravitz Let Love Rule 39 1990 Salt 'N' Pepa Expression 40 1990 Loose Ends Love's Got Me 40 1991 Metallica Enter Sandman 5 1991 Dannii Minogue Baby Love 14 1991 Megadeth Hangar 18 26 1991 Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers Over To You John 28 1991 Stranglers Always The Sun 29 1991 INXS Bitter Tears 30 1991 Samantha Janus A Message To Your Heart 30 1991 Harry Connick Jr. Recipe For Love 32 1991 Tin Machine You Belong In Rock N Roll 33 1991 Little Angels Boneyard 33 1991 Living Colour Solace Of You 33 1991 Shakin Stevens I'll Be Home This Christmas 34 1991 Warrant Cherry Pie 91 35 1991 Almighty Free 'n' Easy 35 1991 Paul Weller Movement Into Tomorrow 36 1991 Almighty Devil's Toy 36 1991 Queensryche Best I Can 36 1991 Extreme Decadence Dance 36 1991 Vixen Not A Minute Too Soon 37 1991 Take That Promises 38 1991 Black Crowes Hard To Handle 39 1991 Little Angels Product Of The Working Class 40 1992 Public Enemy Shut 'Em Down 21 1992 Iron Maiden From Here To Eternity 21 1992 Smiths There's A Light That Never Goes Out 25 1992 Stone Roses Waterfall 27 1992 Manic Street Preachers Little Baby Nothing 29 1992 Soundgarden Jesus Christ Pose 30 1992 Cliff Richard This New Year 30 1992 Stone Roses I Am The Resurrection 33 1992 Black Sabbath TV Crimes 33 1992 Mike Oldfield Tattoo 33 1992 Sex Pistols Anarchy In The UK 33 1992 Catherine Zeta-Jones For All Time 36 1992 Motley Crew Home Sweet Home (91 Remix) 37 1992 GSP The Banana Song 38 1993 Brian May With Cozy Powell Resurrection 23 1993 Deborah Harry I Can See Clearly 23 1993 Kate Bush Moments Of Pleasure 26 1993 Coverdale Page Take Me For A Little While 29 1993 Special AKA 2 Tone EP 30 1993 Alice In Chains Angry Chair 33 1993 Duran Duran Too Much Information 35 1993 Alice In Chains Down In A Hole 36 1993 Rage Against The Machine Bomb Track 37 1993 W.A.S.P. DaTilt Top 50 11th of December 2025
This is the second-last chart for this year. While there were not that many new songs released last week, I am happy to fill this gap with some wonderful songs from the BuzzJack Song Contest and the Pop Contest. There are 4 new entries and 2 re-entries this week. The songs entering last week all climbed up this week and 5 songs jumped into the top 10. At #1 we have the brilliant "Vivid LaLa Love" from Lee Chanhyuk, a song I would have never found without BJSC. At #2 Annalisa scored her first Top 10 hit - I ordered her album, so there might be more to come. Rosalia still holding strong strong with two songs in the Top 10. Cover for this week Audio countdown The 50 1. Lee Chanhyuk - Vivid LaLa Love (10) 2w 2. Annalisa – Esibizionista (12) 2w 3. Isabel LaRosa - Her Face (1) 5w 4. PFSC XVIII: Gimme Four, Gimme More / Results
This looks pretty well so far for my entry. Did not expect to sit @ #4 after 20 contributions - so thanks for all the points. Looking forward to the evening to see whether Geowulf can stay within the Top 5. My selection criteria was quite simple by looking at my Top 50, which song is longer than 4 minutes and fits into the pop genre. Thus, it is very likely you find it by checking my chart 🙂.

PFSC XVIII: Gimme Four, Gimme More / Results
Thank you Leww. "Strange Things Happen" was one of only few songs I knew before and seems to be the closest one to "Deep End". Thanks to all others loving Geowulf and giving points. 😉
-
The Gallup Years- Top 10 Sales- 1991
What great times that were with 2 Unlimited, Bassheads, Bizarre Inc, Altern-8 and K-Klass all in the top 10. The second half of 91 was filled with bangers. "Rhythm Is A Mystery" is indeed from the first half of 91, but was re-released as remix in winter. One of the best dance songs of all time.

PFSC XVIII: Gimme Four, Gimme More / Results
Thanks to @jimwatts , @CowTzy and @Mangø for the points. I also voted for your songs, so it quite fits 🙂
