Lewis's Top 20: Week 661
Hi Lewis, checked some of the Maisie Peters songs, but unfortunately they haven't clicked so far. However, I like "Bittersweet" and "First Original Thought" very much and these two are also in my current Top 10. Nice chart!

DaTilt Top 50 27th of November 2025
The last week was a bit more quiet than the weeks before resulting in only 6 new entries this week. The highest ones are by Tyla and Tate McRae. "Chanel" did not do much for me on first listen, but has grown on me. "Nobody's Girl" catched me by the first listen, so that its entry position is already higher than the peak for "Tit For Tat". Roslia scores a second song in the Top 50 with "La Perla". Yuna's "If You Don't Love Me" is a fine piece of R&B, which is likely to gain next week. The final two new entries by Taylor Acorn and Aleksiah were recommendations from @Cornishswiftie98 . Not that much movement in the upper part of my Top 10, where Isabel LaRosa, Sienna Spiro, Rosalia and Holly Humberstone are still the hottest contenders for the top spot. Behind that Madison Beer, Hannah Baing, and Chloe Qisha keep their postion in the Top 10 and gained a bit. New to the Top 10 are songs from Alessi Rose (up 11 spots) and Ejae (up 15 spots), while Damiano David & Tyle return to the Top 10 in their 11th week in the chart. This weeks cover sees a women with a mask in n old bulding and is inspired by Isabel LaRosa's "Her Face" and Rosalia's "Berghain". Audio countdown Top 50 1. Isabel LaRosa - Her Face (2) 3w 2. Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2001 - #25
"Touch Me" is one of the greatest #1's of all time - "Operation Blade" is not bad, but there are better versions of it, partcularly the original Pump Panel Remix of Confusion from the Blade movie. Also, "Blood Is Pumpin'" by Voodoo & Serano is a nother great version of it.

Jade ranks the 2006 #1s
Oh nice - another #1's thread 🙂. Of the three listed I fully agree with "The Rose" and the McFly song. Westlife were really a group I did not like any song - so boring. Their best one probably was relased this year - Chariot. McFly to me were a cheap copy of Busted. Busted had some great pop pu nk songs such as "Air Hostess" and "Who's David". McFly really never grabbed my attention and there is no song of them I proper remember. On the other hand, I like that Leona Lewis song very much - this would have been placed much higher for me. A very nice ballad.

Tyla - CHANEL
Nice song - took a while to get into it, but it will debut in my top 50 this week.

DaTilt's 100 Favourite UK Top 20 Hits of 1991
95 Rozalla - Everybody's Free (To Feel Good) Rozalla had 5 Top 20 hits, but only one Top 10 hit with "Everybody's Free" peaking at #6 in autum 1991. I quite like this song, but it was a bit overplayed during the 1990's.

gooddelta ranks the UK No.1s of 1998
So, our top 10's have 7 songs in common ;) Here are my places 15 to 10: Another Level - Freak Me I really like their adaption of the Silk classic. Baddiel, Skinner and The Lightning Seeds - Three Lions '98 Fantastic song, but that is just the second take of it. Aqua - Turn Back Time Really strong euro-ballad - one of Aqua's best. Steps - Heartbeat/Tragedy Actually #1 in 1999 but released in November 1998, so I counted that in. Not to keen on Tragedy, but Heartbeat is really good. Robbie Williams - Millennium One of my favourite Robbie songs - I really love the strings in it.

DaTilt's 100 Favourite UK Top 20 Hits of 1991
96 Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch - Good Vibrations Mark Wahlberg aka Marky Mark is the older brother of "New Kids On The Block" singer Donnie Wahlberg. Together with his Funky Bunch he had some hits in the early nineneties of which "Good Vibrations" was the bigest one. This is a very strong hip-house/early eurodance song featuring vocals from Loleatta Holloway. Her vocals were sampled without permission for the original version of "Ride Of Time with thich Black Box scored a #1 hit in 1989.

Absolutely horrible remix. This is so cheap - just putting a hard bassdrum under it destroying the flow of the original. 0/10

DaTilt Top 50 20th Of November 2025
Thank you all for commenting!!! Yeah - I would also to love to run a radio station including new music as well as classics from all era's from 1963 onwards. Loads of great songs being released in the last weeks. "Bittersweet" took some time, but now it is there in the Top 10. Damiano rushing back close to the Top 10. It was in there before for 7 weeks. Definately one of my favourite songs of the year. This has grown on me a lot in the last couple of days after watching the video. Should climb quite a lot in the next charts.

We in Germany love well conducted football songs. "Three Lions" is imo one of the best football songs of all time, but of course the '98 version is just a marginally different version to the '96 original. "Three Lions" was also adapted from my favourite German football team "Werder Bremen" - this is a great german version of it: This song was created in the year of our last German championship in 2004, that's why I have great memories of that. I don't remember "Too Much" very, so I have to give it a re-listen. My places 20 to 16 are: Billie - Because We Want To Oasis - All Around The World Spice Girls - Goodbye Usher - You Make Me Wanna Boyzone - All That I Need Already talked a lot about 17, 19 and 20. I find "Because We Want To" quite infectious, evethough Billie's later stuff was better. Prefer that one clearly over "Girlfriend". "All Around the World" is not Oasis' catchiest song, but still quite good. "You Make Me Wanna" is a good R&B song with great garage mixes by Tuff Jam. "Goodbye" is another softer Spice Girls song designed for the christmas time. It is quite OK, but nothing special imo. "All that I Need" is one of the better Boyzone songs. The nice thing about this release is that it also features dance remixes by Piz Danouk and Trouser Enthusiasts. Eventhough they have not much to do with the original, they are quite nice.

Millennium is slightly higher for me - "Feel It" among my favourite #1's of 1998 - so would appear much later.

I hope this will help to make it finally chart.

DaTilt's 100 Favourite UK Top 20 Hits of 1991
You are absolutely right - it was never that obvious to me. Yeah, it sounds absolutely late 80's. It is a bit of a pity that synth pop faded that much from 1992 onwards.

97 Lisa Stansfield - Change Aftere her big success with her debut album "Affection" in 1989 including the #1 single "All Around The World" Lisa Stansfield returned in 1990 with the first single of her second album "Real Love". "Change" peaked at #10 in October 1991 and is a nice soulful downtempo song.

Radio 1 Playlist (21/11/25): I'd die happy even if I was nobody's girl
Very nice that they added Holly and Chloe to the C-list. Hope this will affect also their streaming, so that they may enter the Top 100. Also nice that Sienna moved up to A-list.
