TBH never heard about "Fleeting". It is an interesting list of songs, of which I only know about 50%.

The german-Canadian singer releases her third album next week. From the three tracks released already "Ignorance Is Bliss" is my favourite, but "Cruel Intentions" and "Landline" also sound very good.

Soung sounds quite well on the first listen.

Just pre-ordered the album. So far it is 2 out of 3. "Say Yes" not a favourite but the other two are great particularly "Bittersweet".

Thank you all for commenting. Zara's album was in my Top 10 of 2025. Annalisa's album is fantastic with lots of bangers. That sounds like a good plan. There seems to be a lot of regional hits in the respective countries nowadays. Particularly, "Do You Hate Me Now" fits perfect to her voice. I hope Holly will release some more stuff and perhaps a new album this year. "Die Happy" is incredible. LMNT115 is my favourite dance tune for the last couple of months. Maybe "Church" can take the final step next week. "End Of The Beginning" is also in the race. I really hope that it can take the top spot in the UK this week. Just watching a bit of "Stranger Things" currently and how "Running Up That Hill" is included there is just magic.

Nice to see Charli holding strong. Need to check out your #1. Just checked some Geese today - but that band is not for me.

Chiquitita is one of my favourite Abba song - good choice for #1. Good increase for Sienna. "Choosing Texas" and "Chanel" are great songs.

Not too sure on "Talk To Me" after the first listen but it may grow on me. "Sexistential" sounds more interesting to me. Both are much better than "Dopamine", which I don't like at all.

I love "Ruby" - it is among my three favourite #1's of this year. "The Way I Are" is also fantastic and not far behind.

That is quite low for Mel C and one of my favourite songs from the Noughties.

"Too Shy" is a very good synth-pop song with Limahl on vocals. This would be definately in front of everything listed so far, maybe except "True". The Duran Duran song is not one of my favourites of them - pretty average imo and I would rank it behind Spandau Ballett, Kajagoogoo, Rod, and KC.

Thank you for commenting. Also loved it when "Berghain" entered Top 40, but my favourite chart moments last year were when "Messy" went to #1 and Sienna entered the Top 10. "High Fashion" is my favourite Addison song so far - hyperpop at its best. "FKA Twigs" is a bit a hit and miss for me - some songs like "Striptease" and "Girl Feels Good" are absolutely magic, while others like "Viscus" and "Hard" I don't feel at all. For "The Subway" I feel that it should usually be Top 40, but the time it was released my charts were quite busy with loads of new stuff each week and it needed some time to grow for me. Maybe I should introduce a weighting factor for each chart week to account for the number of new songs.

It is definitely time for some fresh music - I never had so many songs in my Top 50 with 10 weeks or more. Thank you dry December - the most boring month musicwise.
