  1. You can't blame the band for people buying their music over Gaga's. jeez  what a stan

Didn't even know it was digitally available already, for how long? It seems to have a lot of competition atm, hopefully it can rise above the ranks. EDIT - just wiki'd, it debuted at #34 on the billboard hot 100, which is her highest ever debut, and on the latin chart it's her 14th top 10, making her one of only 4 artists to do that. Work it gurl ~

I don't know how people can say "Again Again" or "Summerboy" are filler. They're not electro pop, but they're both brilliant tracks, slow burners, but amazing (especially the former).
  5. just F.T Island - Vol 3 Cross & Change + Poster. A steeeeal at £17. edit - also picked up; Paolo Nutini - Sunny Side Up Brooke Hogan - The Redemption

This. As an artist, Eminem $h!ts over Mariah, but he comes across pretty desperate on this. Plus I found "Relapse" VERY underwhelming.

LOL at the claim that Rihanna is original. Everything about her is copied from other artists and her style is nothing more than what's currently edgy. SIX is obviously a moron judging by its other replies as well. fail.
  8. The thing is, there won't ever be another king of pop, it will always be Michael, in the same way that Elvis will always be the King of Rock n' Roll, the Beatles are the greatest British group, Bob Marley is the king of reggae, madonna is the queen of pop etc. These titles won't be taken, there's a reason why they're given it in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love Kanye, but it's just a fact. Plus the thought of Justin Timberlake being King when he's nothing more than a cheap immitation of Jacko for the 21st century is laughable. the only reason people call him that is because he dances like Michael

but this is literally the first thing to ever leak from her, how can you possibly judge when you don't even KNOW what else she can do?

It's $h!t hot, i've loved it since I first heard it. It's a shame I've played it around 100 times and tagged it on lastfm as lady Gaga :P #1, and if it isn't, then something is gravely wrong.

It's f***ing brilliant. So addictive and catchy.
  12. Aweeesome. I don't like his new single with Amelle, but his last two & "Stryderman" are fierce. totally anticipating this. Hopefully it isn't overly mainstream though
  13. I can't believe it did so badly. #144! :o I find it a massive improvement on her debut. I was a fan of her for a year or two before she dropped it, and I found half the album completely underwhelming. It's a shame this is going to be her last album most probably, since it shows what she's capable of.

Premier on Channel 4 this morning. It's a really awesome video, if slightly strange. I love the crazy movements at the end
  15. Be By Myself got released in the US. I love Asher Roth SO much
  16. eugh cringe. The only thing I could ever stand by him was "Lollipop" and now it sounds dreadful
  17. My friend's friend is dating the person that wrote most of the songs on her first album :D Anyway bleugh, not very interested in this, and I think the public have pretty much forgotten about her. She could be a hit again, but she'll have to come out all guns blazing if she wants to do it.
  18. I'm looking forward to this. her first album was quite good, and as a piece of work I felt that it was under-rated (or perhaps a better term is being "overshadowed"). Go Katie :)
  19. She's so uninspired and dull imo. I tried to get into her as well a few years ago, but I just couldn't.
  20. I've totally lost interest in him now, as i'm guessing most other people have. It's coming out about three months to late imo. I prefer the former cover also, though his hair is pretty swiiiish ~

This NEEDS to be #1. Epic.
  22. A version of AYN was released in the US though and failed pretty hard - and it was about as US orientated as it could get. I don't see how the sugababes version could have done any better. I think Tinchy Stryder has US potential stateside.

Everybody seems to be raving about the Coffee machine line, my personal favourite is "Nocturnal creatures are not so prudent, the moon's my teacher, and I'm her student"

I LOVE this song. I really like it in Spanish, but it works so much better in English. The lyrics really make this song. I have to admit though, i'm worried about how this will do on charts, it doesn;t seem very mainstream at all.
  25. if it EVER came to the UK, I would be there in a heart beat. Lady Gaga AND Kanye West. Epic win
