So I just listened to Madonna's "Celebration", and it's funny she's gone to her pandering to the gays/club sound, since her hard candy obviously does't appeal to anybody. Generic club-lite track that could be sung by anyone. She should just step down rather than tarnish her name further.

Shakira without any doubt. Critics are lauding over it, everyone on the internet seems to love, awesome new style that she hasn't really gone into before [apart from PI/LDLI] - best song of the summer, and Whitney & Mariah are pretty sub-par.No idea what "Celebration" is but I don't really care to.

Cool, she's pretty good. I watched her DJ at Koko a few months ago, she seems pretty cool as a person as well :D

EDIT - just wiki'd, it debuted at #34 on the billboard hot 100, which is her highest ever debut, and on the latin chart it's her 14th top 10, making her one of only 4 artists to do that. Work it gurl ~

I don't know how people can say "Again Again" or "Summerboy" are filler. They're not electro pop, but they're both brilliant tracks, slow burners, but amazing (especially the former).

The thing is, there won't ever be another king of pop, it will always be Michael, in the same way that Elvis will always be the King of Rock n' Roll, the Beatles are the greatest British group, Bob Marley is the king of reggae, madonna is the queen of pop etc. These titles won't be taken, there's a reason why they're given it in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love Kanye, but it's just a fact. Plus the thought of Justin Timberlake being King when he's nothing more than a cheap immitation of Jacko for the 21st century is laughable. the only reason people call him that is because he dances like Michael :lol:

It's $h!t hot, i've loved it since I first heard it. It's a shame I've played it around 100 times and tagged it on lastfm as lady Gaga :P #1, and if it isn't, then something is gravely wrong.

I can't believe it did so badly. #144! :o I find it a massive improvement on her debut. I was a fan of her for a year or two before she dropped it, and I found half the album completely underwhelming. It's a shame this is going to be her last album most probably, since it shows what she's capable of.

Premier on Channel 4 this morning. It's a really awesome video, if slightly strange. I love the crazy movements at the end :wub:
