    Yeah this is so weird! I was listening to this like three years ago ~ Though maybe it means that she's going to back to pop rock and we'll finally get the "One Voice" album!

    Ahh I wonder if she can top last years..that was immense! <3 btw what's the difference between the stages?
  3. Well deserved! :heart: Does anyone know what stars surround her?

    There really is nothing offensive about it imo. ["Straight home from work sweet cheeks" D': ] I watched it and found it funny |= but I knew it'd be controversial, people claim to be accepting of gays, but the reality of things is far different..

    OMG MAX!! :cry:
  6. The song is a total rip off of Iamxray's "Pretty Rave Girl" |= eGjk_6KuYdo
  7. What are you, ignorant? :rolleyes: The amount she's achieved, both musically and personally [her humanitarian work] is insurmountable. At least know what you're talking about before you make idiotic claims like that. Ugh.. Anyway great news! About time aha ~ She's also the first Colombian to get a star! :D
  8. I like Stacie, she actually seems to have morals and is a good role model, rather than another bimbo in the Britney clone production line. Don't mind this song either, not ~great~ though
  9. Lol somebody edited my thread title? D': I demand you all love her! :angry:
  10. http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/3605/330pxalan1fe5.jpg alan (阿蘭 or 阿兰) is a Tibetan/Chinese singer and Erhu player from Sichuan province. Alan was scouted when Avex China held auditions in Beijing, where she sung covers of Amuro Namie's NEVER END and Natsukawa Rimi's Nada Sousou. She caught the judges attention by performing these songs in a military uniform (which happened to be her school uniform). She debuted with a Japanese language single in November 2007, titled A$h!ta e no Sanka, which was characterised by her frequent use of the high notes found in Tibetan folk songs. This was followed by Hitotsu in March 2008. In response to the magnitude 8 earthquake that hit her province Sichuan on May 12, alan released a charity digital single across Asia called Shiawase no Kane (also released in Chinese as Ai Jiu Shi Shou). alan was chosen to sing the theme song for the NHK TV special SAVE THE FUTURE, entitled Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~ and produced by Sakamoto Ryuichi. She plans, in the next five months, to release a single every month based on the elements earth, sky, water, wind and fire, which will be followed the month after by her debut album. --------------------------- Okay seriously she has one of the most beautiful and powerful voices you'll ever hear. Her music is rooted very much in classic Chinese/Tibetan sounds, but she's wow <3 A$h!ta e no Sanka k7iCRVLtZlM Hitotsu dMiGQPGGZYg Natsukashii Mirai -longing future- gLrkkbCYVAg
  11. When did he get so good, srsly? |: I remember like three years ago I hated him, but "Tha Carter III" is pretty woah <3 Also, since when [and why] did every single person start to randomly love him? I never would have put him down as the type to sell 950K+ in one week I'm so confused D: [Though it doesn't beat the amazing-ness of Epik High's "Pieces, Part One" - best hip hop album ~and overall~ of 2008 for realz <3]
  12. Singles: Arashi: One Love [CD/DVD] I ordered alan's "Natsukashii Mirai" but cancelled it haha.
  13. Ooh I was actually thinking of her a few days ago. Her first album is actually really good..some great songs like "Drive" "Promise" and "Say Okay" <3

    Omg it's like choosing between water or food! :o <3 them both aha ~

    I think that the song is dirge. I'm not a Madonna fan, but still, she's had a few decent tracks. This isn't one |= Also lolz at the fact that she jumped on the Pharrell bandwagon about 3 years too late ~
  16. BoA: THE FACE - Easily her best album since 2005, it's sad that she can't pull the sales like she used to. The album is <3 Ami Suzuki: DOLCE - Seriously.. one of the most amazing dance/electro albums you will ever hear. Some amazing songs like "FREE FREE" and "feel the beat" but at the same time there are some AMAZING down-tempo numbers. "Bitter.." is like, one of her most amazing songs, period. It's a shame the album sold like 10K Those are from 2008 so far, cba to go any further behind D;
  17. I don't think so sorry ^ You can check on this site: http://www.miak.or.kr/ I already have for you, and I don't see anything sorry. If you ever want to check for yourself though go to the bottom of the page and click on any of links in the boxes with the Orange/Green line. I'm assuming you don't know any Korean :P but just look for "'08년 가요 음반판매량" and "'08년 POP 음반판매량" :D EDIT: I found this From what I gather, it says that insufficient sales means that there is no charting to display
  18. Oh sorry, I got some information wrong in my previous post. Girlband The Wonder Girls are #1 in both the album and singles chart. proof: http://www.hanteo.com/
  19. In response to your comment aimed at me, I assume you're aware that there are seperate charts for foreign artists [an unofficial sub-division of the official Korean Chart, tallied fortnightly] At the moment I believe SNSD is #1 with their song "Kissing You" to promote the re-release of their debut album :D and Epik high are #1 with their comeback album "Pieces, Part One"
  20. I'm sorry, but bull$h!t much? The sales in Korea have downspiralled massively since 2004, an album barely sells over 150K there anymore. The highest selling album of 2007 sold about 165K I think. NO artist anytime soon is going to have the biggest selling album in South Korean history, especially when the highest selling sold like 2.6 million or something like that. Besides that fact aside, Asian countries are very xenophobic towards western artists, so even if it was possible, a 6 year old girl surely wouldn't do it.
  21. Me too. I was kinda disappointed she started using lots of instruments in her last album, even though the music was good it wasn't really her, a lot more commercial than "Soviet Kitsch" imo o:
  22. Well that's obviously a deluded comment, since she's been on NO major tv, had NO hit record, her music ISN'T popular in Korea and there, and in Asia, she's a NObody D: I watched that video, and it's nothing more than press conference. Don't be so deluded as to think that anyone here cares about her.
  23. Home grown releases in smaller Asian countries are still able to push 50K+ - it's not along the same levels of Japan and Korea, but 15K really isn't a lot...and considering the only foreign artists to do well are either from other Asian countries or big American names, I hardly believe that a 6 year old nobody has done that.
  24. Lol you do realise it takes like 15,000 albums to go gold in Taiwan? Hardly OMGWOW ~ and I know for a fact she isn't popular in Korea, so oops to you D;
  25. Regina <3. Everyone whores over her now :( though it's well deserved
